So, we need another quarterback it seems. Would you rather bring in a vet to spell Love if he’s out for a couple games or just go with maybe Etling and a draft pick? I’m guessing they keep three this season. If a vet, who?

Because of Cap reasons, I think you got to go with a mid to late round pick. It would be nice to put a Veteran in the room with Love but it might have to be a coach or consultant.
I don't think I want a vet. My expectations are somewhere below winning it all. I'd rather bring someone up to teach them how to play backup. It would be nice if we could get a QB mill going again.
I would highly prefer a vet who has played before. That way if Love gets hurt or god forbid stinks it up they could put them in the game. But, with the cap the way it is right now that probably is not possible.
Here's a depth chart listing of rostered QBs across the league

Teams will max out their QB room from May - August and then some are cut loose, others sent to PS. Some of these vets can be too spendy.
Jets have 4 QBs right now, fair chance GB could snag Tim Boyle / Chris Streveler at some point. Both know the offense, have played in NFL games and are cheeep.
Joe Flacco is a FA, he knows this offense and played for $ 3.5M last year

GB needs a competent back- up and a mid- round developmental guy.
4-5 teams will add a top pick at QB and that might make some depth QBs available. Colts for example have Gardner Minshew and Nick Foles. Houston has Davis Mills and Case Keenum.
Post -draft those teams might be interested in a chat
Seneca Tolzzzzzzein is avb

Tolzien is currently the QB coach in Indy
Seneca Wallace is running youth QB camps in Tacoma Washington
So you’re saying there’s a chance
Gotta have a vet. A rookie would be a disaster.

If Love were to actually stink, the last thing I’d want to see is a competent backup QB who can win a few games.
Since there's a kind of Jets-y vibe happening, maybe the Packers can lure Fitzpatrick out of retirement.
