I ended up with an extra copy of the 12/2/79 game between the Packers and Redskins. It was Lynn Dickey's first start since his leg was shattered more than two years previous. He led GB to a 21-7 halftime lead, and then....well, I won't ruin the fun.

It's the original CBS telecast with Vin Scully (!) on play-by-play. Worthwhile if you'd like to see what the Packers looked like in the bad old days before Fritz Shurmur won the Super Bowl for them.

If anyone would like it, speak up and I'll get it in the mail ASAP. If you want to show your gratitude, give 10 bucks to your local humane society.

I loved Lynn Dickey and that offense with Lofton, Jefferson, and Coffman. If only we had a defense and Dickey could have stayed healthy. But the droppoff from him to David Whitehurst was sickening.

One of the best games in Packer History was Dickey and the Packers against the Redskins on Monday night. Of course if their kicker doesn't go wide right at the end it would have been one of the most dissapointing games in Packer history.
