Two pre-snap penalties in 3 plays. Perhaps Chryst should pay attention?

I think they've basically given up for the year and just want it to end.

Quitting is not a good attribute.
Why a 3yd pass on 3rd and 4
Watson is barely quick enough to run between the tackles, they have no chance with him runnng wide.
Another bad pass to Fergie
And another to Dunn
I must say I am not impressed with the Kansas kid.
Mertz sucks. Throws rocket balls on every throw but when he should.
Em fucking barassing

Shades of Bill Gramatica and Gus Frerotte. What an Fn' moron.
Coan will get a redshirt, so the Badgers will have a QB controversy next year.
Graham Mertz
First 2 games: 32-43, 375 yards, 7 TDs, 0 Ints.
Last 2 games: 63-113, 601 yards, 1 TD, 5 Ints.
It wasn't just the stats. It was multiple "deer in the headlights" looking plays, missed reads, inaccurate throws, a lack of touch, and holding the ball in the pocket.
Canβt wait for the Paul Chryst press conference. A lot of mumbling and um yeahs. Awesome!
Hey coach - howβs that QB development going?
What a debacle of a season. Iowa celebrating like they won the national championship. Just pathetic.
And it's not just today, they looked bad the last 3 games.
Mertz regressing terribly. Looks like an 18 year old with not much talent around him. Were Illinois and Michigan really that bad?
The Badgers were healthy back then....that helped.
Nothing counts in 2020.
I am just going to pretend this season didn't happen. Mertz has been terrible but in fairness they don't have their usual running game and the WRs haven't been healthy for awhile. I think if Mertz can have that around him he will be ok.
Mertz looked really good until they cancelled the two games and he and the team have looked bad ever since. The numerous injuries havenβt helped either.
I would imagine so much of this is due to lack of practice and reps and starting and stopping and just general COVID related disruptive crap. They should have just cancelled the season.
So looks like the MN/WI game is back on. Not really sure how I feel about that.
I feel it is stupid.
But I'll be watching.
Fitting end to 2020 by losing the axe....
The Big 10 championship game is on Saturday, early. The Badger, Gopher game is on after.
In what freaking world does this make sense?
In what world does a big 10 championship make sense?

The battle for most disappointing team in the West in 2020! UW cannot lose to NW and Iowa and MN all in the same year can they?

In a normal year no but this year? oh yes they can and I think they will unfortunately.
