Yah, I know it's women's sports but the Badger Women's Volleyball team will play for the National Championship. They were a 12 seed going into the tourney after finishing 4th in the BigTen. They beat #1 seed and defending national champ Texas tonight and will play the winner of Penn State and Washington. Barry Alverez looked very happy and proud tonight. F'UM BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So they play Penn State. An all BigTen final. It will be hard to win. I think they beat others in the tournament because they didn't know what the Badgers can do. Penn State will know.
I think the UW engineering department is still trying to see if they can get girl's volleyball uniform shorts to get shorter and shorter each year.
My gosh, those shorts can't be comfortable...but they are nice to look at....

Great effort from a team that is sounds like wasn't even expected to compete this year. Too bad they came up short but they gave it a great run.
The sad thing is they had a good chance of winning. Too many service errors led to Penn State points when the Badgers couldn't afford to give points away like that.
