UW at #1 Arizona Saturday. Lord know the Badgers have ripped the hearts out of Wildcats fans before (Twice). Zona head coach Tommy Lloyd said UW is the toughest opponent they have faced all year... and UA already played @Duke. Gonna be a good one!

They list Ballo as a 7-footer but I think he closer to 6'10". He's a load under the basket but can't hit free throws with any consistency. Hack-a-Shaq might be the way to go against UA. Krivas is a freshman but gets some PT. He has shown flashes and is capable. It's gonna be interesting to see how Zona handles Crowl stepping out for 3's.

This game might be closer than many think. Both have played MSU and MSU actually lead by 3 with 3:58 left to play. But Zona went on a 11-2 run to end the game. And that game was at Arizona. I could see the same happen today with the Badger history of going on long scoring droughts. On the other hand Bucky took it to MSU at MSU and never trailed in the game. So it could be a nail biter right down to the end. Or.........................
Arizona played MSU in Palm Desert, California... Not Tucson, Arizona.

Arizona left no doubt, they are in the Heavyweight division.
Wisconsin has a very solid team. They will challenge for the conference title and make some noise in the post season for sure. I was impressed with Blackwell. I've never heard of him but the kid was lights out from 3 today. Not sure if he is always like that but he looked damn good for a freshman. The Chuckie kid is also impressive with his quicks. Smooth player at the 1.
Arizona has a super team this year with quality depth. As good as they are on offense they might just be better on defense, which is very rare for a Zona team. Playing on the road in Tucson is tough so keep your heads up.
The future looks bright in Wisconsin. If we don't run into each other in the Big Dance we will see you at the Kohl Center next year.

The Wildcats continue to live off Lute Olson and a title like 30 years ago. Oh boy.
Tucson is generally a nice city but the AZ basketball fans are beyond myopic. They are a lot like Vikings fans IMO.
And I know Pakrz and other local rubes will argue otherwise but that’s the deal.
And go ahead and dispute it but we’ve been out there on and off since 1998. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Everyone knows U of A is a dump compared to ASU.
We will find out how good AZ is in the next couple of weeks. They looked great today, no doubt .

For sure. Tough games coming up with Purdue, Alabama and FAU. Gotta be some losses in there somewhere. Very curious to see how Zona deals with the big goon from Purdue.
