Looking like a top 20 class.  They lose Vernor but he was here for a cup of coffee.

Badgers ended up with a very decent group and most importantly got a couple of key guys at the end namely Ernest Willor Jr (DE) and Xavier Lucas (DB) to commit.

Lucas got major interest from Miami and FSU toward the end as a Southern FL guy.  He’s an elite corner prospect much like Sauce Gardner.

Willor Jr had interest from about 15 major programs in an area of need and was a top 300 prospect in the country.  We beat out O$U for him.  He teams up with another big time recruit Dillan Johnson and Hank Weber on the DL.

This class is really strong on RB, DB, and DL, OLB.

Badgers got big news with 2025 commit Jaimier Scott out of Ohio.  He was rated the #20 athlete in the country and had offers from Michigan and Penn State and Tennessee.

He’s a legit 4 star guy that is projected to play hybrid LB/S or slot corner.  He could also be a special teams ace as he’s exceptional at tackling and has really good closing speed and range.

Along with another stud DB prospect Remington Moss (2025) as of now the Badgers 2025 class is hovering around the top 10.

Already this year they are adding three very good DBs in Jay Harper and Omilio Agard and Xavier Lucas, so what was once a position of weakness might become a position of strength very quickly.

What really hurt the Badgers this year is outside of Wohler they had no one on the back end of that defense that could make plays when the pass rush wasn’t there.  That should change a bit with these guys because their size and speed should allow them to close the passing windows much more quickly.   You think about many of their games this year where opposing QBs just picked them apart or they faltered near the end of games.  Keep adding these types of prospects and that should change for the better.
