Also, good to see U(not)tough  shoot about 25%.  I am still annoyed that the B1G allowed Iowa to take him from the Badgers.  I don't care what anyone says......it's bad....since he was recruited by both....allow him to go to another conference, but not the B1G.  Then the national media  piled on Bo which was crap.  I still think the B1G owes Bucky an apology.

I think these kids should be allowed to go wherever they want, just like the coaches, as long as they sit for a year.

Still don't like the way Utoff left. Low character guy. Be a man, step up and tell the coach who recruited you that you no longer feel it is in your best interests to stay. Sending your girlfriend over with a note? Low class.

Sure, the kid can go wherever he wants...but that doesn't mean the school can take him.  NCAA should set the precedent that some teams cannot sign him.  i.e., the NCAA tells the school that originally lost the recruiting battle that he cannot play basketball at that school due to possible improprieties.   Coach Ryan did not leave at that juncture.  Also it seemed like possible tampering going on.

Also, Iowa should have said NO just to show respect to the other B1G teams.  Then, again, Iowa and respect is an oxyMORON.

F*** Unottough and his dad....and his girlfriend....but not at the same time.

yeah.  sorry about that.  i had to vent.

I do agree that he has a right to attend and go take classes at any college he wants....after all, this is America.  However, playing basketball is a privilege.     He made an error in judgement by accepting the scholarship to Madison.  He changed his mind.  Fine.  But that doesn't give him the "right" to play for another B1G team.  I still believe Delaney threw Bo under the bus on the situation and made Bo and Badger Nation out to be bad guys.....when in fact, Iowa should've been under more scrutiny for possible "tampering" with a player under scholarship for another team.

Iowa to the Badgers is very similar to what the Vikings are to the Packers.

I agree a teenager made a bad decision and handled it immaturely.  I also agree that someone was in Jerod's ear, just not sure it was the university.  I also agree that how Bo was handled in the media was overblown, he had every right to hear firsthand what the problem was from the player he invested a year in.

But that is all fine,  I get the pleasure of watching a team without him (or DIamond Stone, or George Marshall) play exciting basketball.  The grudge is gone.  At this point I am mostly curious, curiosity that likely won't every be satisfied, around what occurred.  Was jerod turned off by Bo the coach, similar to how Bruesewitz felt?  Was there a booster in his ear getting him to come back?  I suspect there was a combination of things that lead to him moving on.
