Game is on FS1 starts in minutes.
The only ranked team Badgers play until the B1G tourney is Purdon't. Very favorable down the stretch. Altho all B1G games are tough, especially on the road.
Davison with a 3!
Rutgers, playing giant killers today?? π‘ π‘ π‘
Crowl draws the foul on the lay up...
Davis is 0-3 from the FT line. 0 points, so far.
How many more shots will Rutgers hit the shot clock going off?
Davison gives Wisconsin it's first lead!
Vogt to the foul line. I do not remember the last time I saw Vogt make a FT.
Halftime. 38-35 Rutgers. Davis and Company have to turn it on, in the 2nd half.
Lots of turnovers by both teams.
Bucky 0 for their last 7 attempts on 3s
Badgers deserve to lose.
Davis is not a high NBA lottery pick. Other college teams have figured him out.

He'd be better off coming back to Wis next fall.
8 for 16 from the line. 4 for 18 from three.
Scarlet Knights have never won in Madison, until
Wisconsin's inability to make 3s, and making turnovers, pretty much sealed their fate today.
Annoying giant killers indeed......π€¬

He's a fringe rotation guy in the NBA at best. It was a huge exaggeration to think he was going to be Tyler Herro or something like that.
Final score Rutgers 73, Badgers 65.
Davison took way too many 3's. When he had missed 3 in a row he should have stopped shooting or hit the bench. I get you have to hit one sooner later, or not. And it wouldn't bother me if Bowman NEVER saw the floor again. Really don't know what Gard sees in him.

Do you really want him back? He seems to disrupt them playing team basketball

Gard should have pulled Davison for shooting all those 3's
If you go back to the loss against Michigan State, this is basically a team playing .500 or so basketball.
Like just about everything in sports, the more you play the more your opposition can study and adjust and thatβs my concern right now with the Badgers.
Earlier in the year, Davis kind of snuck up on everyone but thatβs not the case anymore. It seems to me their offense has morphed into less ball rotation and more iso and when the shots arenβt falling they have a tough time scoring points. Defensively, they donβt have a lot of size and skill in the frontcourt and as we saw against Illinois they got worked.
Their record is gaudy but I think this team needs to get back to playing team basketball. They got lucky by finding Davis but now they have to figure out who else can consistently step up. Wahl could be that guy. Not as confident in Davison.
ugly loss. if they hit their free throws they probably win. davison shooting too much
Drop 1 in the AP and 2 in the Coaches. Purdon't dropped more.
Suddenly the loss to Rutgers doesn't look so bad since they just knocked off Illinois by 11. Rutgers had a 21 point lead at one time in the 2nd half. This is their 4th straight win over a top 25 ranked team.
