Stave is really, really bad.  Still, I wouldn't have put Tanner in when Anderson did, nothing about the flow of the game made sense there.  I'm sure it was a "we decided last night what series Tanner would get..." kind of thing.   

 

I like the ball in Tanner's hand, just not under center.  He just might be tall enough to catch Stave's moon balls, has no career as a QB, but might be athlete enough to be a meaningful WR.  He's an athlete wasted on the sideline.  

McEvoy had a position- safety.  He was an above average starter for them last year despite the fact he thinks he's a QB.  Well, we've had enough of a sample size to see he's not a very good passer. 

 

Owen Daniels was a QB too at one time but the coaches made the right move and played him at TE.  Jamar Fletcher was an option QB but thankfully they kept him at CB. 

 

Get Houston some reps.  Stave can't play and let McEvoy get pissed off and transfer.
