They might be the worst running team in the Big 10, but their passing offense (and especially David Bell) are elite. The Badgers completely stopped their passing offense and held Bell to 6 catches for 33 yards.  When that happens they are helpless.

They are the mirror image of the Badgers. If you can't stop the run, the Badgers will beat almost anyone, but if you stop the run consistently it's not like Mertz is going to beat you.

MSU got bulldozed by the Purdue passing offense. Purdue just kept passing even trying to milk the clock because the realized they couldn't run the ball. They threw for 536 yards and their RBs had 29 carries for 71 yards.

This is the team everyone expected to see minus the Mertz blunders. Unfortunately they already lost 3 games.

Waste of a season they could have been a top 5 team in.

Yeah it sucks. But I still like seeing a 52 to 3 game.

I expected Bucky to win this game. However, I did not expect a blow out. The Gophers lost to Illinois, so that puts Bucky in 1st place, in the Big 10 West conference, due to the tie breaker.  Purdue beat MSU, so there are no undefeated teams in the Big 10.

Have to love that garbage time, don't run the score up Bucky is completely a passing offense or hand it to the fullback

Any news on Mellusi?  They are running out of RBs.
