Gard told the media (correctly) this game was bad for his team.  Out of conference play was supposed to be over.

Instead, they have to go on the road and give these Conference USA chumps a shot at a ranked opponent? It's bullcrap.  Apparently it is a leftover from a contract linked to football.

So he knew there could be a letdown.  I give him credit for predicting it.

It's just, I hate being a broken record, but I am just awed by the complete lack of effort on the offensive glass.  No effort whatsoever to crash the offensive boards.  None.

Our backups could have beat these guys.  If the starters aren't crashing the glass, then pull them and put in someone who will.

Reminiscent of when the Badgers travelled to GB a few years back and lost to UWGB.  That should never happen.

By the way - this wasnā€™t a 12-0 Bowling Green team.  They have one very good player and are or were like 6-6.  Just a bad loss.  Kind of like the Bucks losing to the Knicks at the Garden a month ago. It can happen but frustrating nonetheless.

Our bench players did little or nothing for us. Trice went 0-5 from three point range. Ruevers, Pritzl and Ford did not do much better. Offensive boards were nonexistent. Davison was better than Happ last night. Watch this team beat Minnesota, who is up next. Now, they have something to prove against a fairly tough Gopher team. We are seeing the tail end of Bo Ryan's recruiting in Happ. Next season should be interesting.
