The Dodgers are running out of pitchers to the point where Roberts was quoted as saying that Ohtani may pitch in the post-season. Glasnow is out for the year. Kershaw has a broken toe. They gave three other guys on rehab assignments in the minors (Gonsolin, Kelly, and Stone).

But the Dodgers can't complain about injury luck given what's happened to the Brewers this year.

Going for the sweep with a 3:10 CT start. No national TV coverage indicated.

Gamecast only gives the Crew a 43.7% chance of winning.

It's on MLB Network....

That loss is on Murphy if Williams was available to pitch.

You’re trying for an all important first round bye. I know the Phillies are coming up, but every win is important. That should have been a sweep.

Braves are beating the Dodgers 2-0 in the 4th.

Oh well, can't win them all. A coulda shoulda wouda type game.

Back in Milwaukee tomorrow to start a series with the Phillies, before a rematch with the snakes.

Anyway, here's where things stand tonight:

Murphy blew that game. His rationale didn't even make sense. Either Williams is available or he's not. He got up to warm up in the bullpen twice. If you are afraid of overworking him and are going to hold him out, don't get him up to throw at all. Period.

Inexcusable managerial decision.
