I'm completely stoked for this game. What a series this turned out to be.  I don't mind Joe Buck but I will have Pat Hughes on instead. Game 7 where each team will be throwing it all out for the win ! Just a exciting feeling that a historic game is about to be played tonight and we all get to see it.

Chapman only threw 20 pitches last night, but you still have to wonder why he was in the game at all. I guess you can understand 2 on and 2 out in the 7th in a 5 run game and then let him work the 8th, but why send him back out there in the 9th at all when you have a 7 run lead? That would have saved him warming up before the inning and then the first batter.

It's pretty clear Maddon doesn't trust anyone in the pen except for Chapman. They claim he's going to use Lester from then pen tonight, but you can't do that in a close game after about the 6th inning. You certainly can't bring Lester in with a runner on, you might as well just award the guy an extra base if you do.

If you can't get excited for this game---why the Hell are you reading a baseball thread?

Go Injuns.....wait, is that insensitive?

I've been to Chicago at least twice every year over the last 20 years. There are three things I want them to win.

My steak. My Italian beef combo. My flight home.

To Joe's Stone Crab and Al's. Thanks. To ORD. Cutler would be a great choice for a spokeswoman for getting people where they want to go.

It's so nice to watch an incredibly unhealthy and out of whack game like this and not have a true vested interest in the winner. (Sort of) This is what sports are meant to be.

Joe Maddon is going to be questioned in Chicago for the next 110 years if they don't win this.

His decisions to pitch Chapman up 3 runs in Game 6, yanks Hendricks early in Game 7, and pull Lester with 2 outs in the 8th are all questionable.

Chapman is gassed and melting down.

Twins - Braves in 1991 was the best series I ever saw. This game 7 may rival any other game 7 ever.

Both managers have really over managed by using up the relievers they trust. Miller, Allen, chapman, are all gassed.

"Right now every Cub fan in the stadium would love to turn to the Indian fan next to them and say, "Can we each just say we won and celebrate?" - Things Vin Skully would say if he was calling this game.

Any bets on if Chapman comes back even after the rain? Who does Francona send to the hill?

There is nothing Maddon could do beyond what he's already done that would surprise me. He's put in the worst performance by any manager I've ever seen in a pressure situation.
