Which is why I think the Packers need to play very aggressive D, if the secondary sucks - what's to lose and the aggression will likely increase potential for TOs.

I'm looking for bad Jay to make an appearance.

Last time Rodgers returned from an injury he dropped a 50 burger on the Giants & showed everyone why he's the best QB in the NFL.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the media on Friday following their final practice before Sunday’s regular-season finale against Chicago. Here are some highlights from his news conference:

INJURY REPORT
QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone, probable), OLB Mike Neal (abdomen, probable), OLB Nick Perry (foot, probable), TE Jake Stoneburner (Illness, probable), TE Ryan Taylor (illness, probable), RB Eddie Lacy (ankle, probable), ILB Brad Jones (ankle, probable), OLB Clay Matthews (thumb, out), DL Ryan Pickett (knee, probable), TE Andrew Quarless (ankle, probable).

-Eddie Lacy was limited today. Confident he’ll be ready to go.

-Randall Cobb, we gave him a bunch of work today. We wanted to push him as much as we could. Told Cobb before practice we’ll push it today and evaluate it on Saturday.

-Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to play. I don’t know what else you need.

-The push is really the last two weeks for Randall Cobb. Thought he did some good things last week. Looks good, has fresh legs.

-I don’t have a timeline on Clay. Matthews has had surgery, but do not have a timeline on it.

-It’s important for your team to know who your quarterback is. We’ve had to adjust some things as the week has gone on but I feel like we’re ready to go.

-Cobb is a play-maker. Our offense is based on making our quarterback successful based on the run game.

-I think you have to be practical. I think momentum will spring off this game. We’re clearly looking at it as a playoff game. The biggest thing for me and it’s always been this way, the teams that practice together and play together normally improve. We played younger players earlier than we would’ve liked.

-Dr. John Gray evaluates players for illness and determines if they need to go home or can stay.

-It’s a lot like going to the restaurant with Rodgers. You have to decide what you want to use and what you shouldn’t use. We had that meeting this morning, adjusted the game plan.

-Rodgers practiced three days last week. I thought he had a good week of practice.

-I think Nate Palmer is one of the guys we talked about. He played a lot of football earlier this year. I’m very confident in those guys.

MM should have just lied about whether Clay was going to be available like Jason Garrett did about Romo.

That actually was a lie.

My employer has a good friend who is also a friend of John Kitna's. They knew at the beginning of the week (per Kitna) that Romo was definitely out this week.

The Green Bay Packers are leaving the door open for Randall Cobb to be activated in time for Sunday’s game against Chicago.

On Friday, Packers filled only one of their two vacant spots on the 53-man roster with the promotion of cornerback Jumal Rolle from the practice squad while leaving the other open for the potential activation of their third-year receiver.

Rolle, a 6-foot rookie out of Catawba College (N.C.), has been with the Packers since Oct. 8 and gives the secondary some added depth, but Cobb’s return is the one many fans have been waited with bated breath.

Randall Cobb was activated from IR/designated to return and is listed as questionable for the game tomorrow

Though, judging from this, I'd say he's probably playing

really, Bubblehead?

at least put a sarcasm alert or one of those smiley thingy-dingy's next to your post just to make sure we aren't taking it the wrong way....

...but...you might be correct in your prophecy...but...WHY put it in writing here in this thread about Bears Week?  just to tick everyone off?  I don't get it.

Once we beat the Bears, let's see how healthy we are....adjust a game plan accordingly to our next opponent...IF indeed it is the Whiners....then...GREAT!  The game will be a true test to who we are at this point....maybe the Whiners have better/healthier personnel at this point....but...it will be a home game in the cold....let's just take one game at time for now...

You mean the team that GB went back and forth with in their place in Week 1? Niners aren't as dominant as last years team IMO

You got any more darwin comments to try to fit in around here?

Beat the Bores and all of a sudden this team is playing with house money

We need to remember that if the Packers win they host a playoff game in GB, and there are several teams that probably wouldn't enjoy the trip to Lambeau at this time of the year (namely the Saints, Panthers, Cards, and Niners).  Can't say what it's going to be over the weekend but it's single digit temps for the early part of the week.
