There was one ditzy blonde from Michigan State posting on ESPN (who listed her place of employment as a titty bar), running her mouth after the Lions beat us on Thanksgiving Day, calling the Lions "the kings of the north." I bookmarked that discussion, and waited patiently for the Lions to choke like they always do.
Once they fell to 7-8 today, and were eliminated from the playoffs, I paid her a visit.
And Detroit fans thought their problems were over when they got rid of Millen. HA! Schwartz had his team perfectly placed to take over the decision and he laid a big fat egg. Perfect! I hope they decide he's too expensive to buy out...

There's quite a few Bears fans out there that have experienced a Super Bowl win. That's something Vikings and Lions fans have been missing.
As for Vikings fans, I guess what you could say is that in some ways, it's like some invisible force is out there just dangling Super Bowl wins very close to them, but snatching those opportunites away just to taunt them into misery. I can think of so many good, but not quite great Vikings teams, the list is long. I believe the Vikes have nearly as many division titles as the Pack, but beyond division titles is where their trophy case gets very empty.
As for the Lions fans well... all I can say is I'm sorry. What a mess of ineptitude. I fully admit that I thought Martin Mayhew had them going in the right direction after taking over for Matt Millen, but he's only been slightly better than Millen. I'm not sure what it would take for Detroit to turn things around, but it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.
