My family is planning to go to a game this year -- looks like Carolina -- and it will be our first trip to Lambeau (we're from New Jersey -- no we don't look, act and/or think like the meat heads from MTV's 'Jersey Shore.')

We're looking at seats on the 40-yard line (because they're just a bit cheaper than the 50-yard line) and we'd like to be down low, but not "too low."

So, my question to you regulars is how low is "too low" and what row is optimal for being "low" but not having your view obstructed by the players, coaches, crews, etc. standing on the sidelines?

Any other tips or hints to enhance the gameday experience are also more than welcome.

Thanks for your help in making this a great family vacation and a memorable maiden voyage to Lambeau Field.

my opinion when behind benches is to be at least 10 rows up.

sat in the 2nd row behind the GBP bench for a preseason game once. once.  all I saw was numbers and asses.     it was '96 preseason game where Flanagan got his leg busted to pieces.

Anywhere between the 20 yard lines is really good. Agreed with TDog...if you're closer to the center,it's probably preferable to be up ten rows or so.

The only seats I don't care for are those directly in the endzone. Corner endzone is ok for me, but when looking directly at the field length wise, I lose something in that perspective. It's great when the play is near your endzone, but anything midfield or further and depth perception becomes a problem. Others love it though.

I actually found a pair right on the 50, row 25 last year for face. You will not be disappointed.

But having bounced around the stadium a bit in the last few years, I will join the chorus in saying I have yet to find a bad spot between the 20s in that stadium.
