What would you recommend? TIA. (P.S. I know this was discussed before but I’m seeing prices are changing a lot and price is definitely an issue.)

Definitely YTTV because they have unlimited cloud DVR. Can't be beat.

Don't forget you'll need Peacock 🦚 for tomorrow night.

Yep, thanks Boris. Already signed up for it for tomorrow’s game. Then I just found out I’ll need it Saturday as well for Boise State vs. Oregon. I really hate that they’re putting these games on streaming services rather than over-the-air broadcast networks. But then I’m a grumpy old man and retired TV director who worked mostly in the pre-streaming era.

Certain cable providers give you peacock for free (Xfinity, Cox, Spectrum I think) with specific speed plans like 1Gig... Also....

If you're a Verizon customer you can get Peacock for $80 for the year then get NF Premium for FREE for the year too.

That promotion may have ended 8/31/2024. You'll have to check it out if interested.

True, if they record it.  I record a few things we like, most get recorded, some don’t.  I trouble shoot the prob, go to their help page, read their forums and can’t get it to work.  Another thing, they have no help phone number that works for me.

That’s my only issue…sorry for the rant.

Oh, anyone have any ideas?

Wait a second.....it's very simple. Click the "+" sign on your show or favorite team - it turns to a "✓"

I've never had something NOT record.

Nope.  Google YTTV not recording shows, it evidently happens to other folks too.

Ok just a couple things....standard stuff.

Make sure everything Is set the way you want. Once it's set, shut down your YTTV app then power down your device and unplug it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes power back on, bring up the app and be sure everything is still set the way you want. That should help.

I run YTTV on my PS4 & nVidia shield & never had any issues - I never use the built in apps on the TV. Unless you have a fairly new TV, (3-5 years old) the processor (CPU & memory) isn't fast enough to handle what the streaming apps require. YMMV

So if you are in Milwaukee or Green Bay, local NBC affiliate will show tonight's game.

Madison or anywhere else? Apparently that's a big NFLFU!

I have PeaCOCK anyway so no big deal. Allegedly (to quote one Leroy Butler), the Packers are the only team in the league that allows this.

It was still around. I grabbed that deal Friday.

100%. We have Peacock and a few other streaming services only because my kids use their grandmother’s (or somebody else’s) username. I can’t get myself to spend money on a subscription service to watch a game that will be 50% commercials.
