It is all so confusing for this old timer. Why can't we just have a bet on who might win a game, instead of all these other scenarios? The world has passed me by, but I'm still upright

Off subject but I also bet every NFC West team to win the division EXCEPT the Niners. Current odds 1/2

We are. We're betting they are going to suck. The only mystery is are they going to out suck the Bares!

I am also an old fart so help me out on something.  What is +2500 and -140?  I get what they used to have for instance 25-1 odds but what is the new way?

If you were to bet $10 on +2500 odds, you would receive $250.00 in profit if this outcome won. Odds accompanied with a positive sign (+) indicate that this is the underdog and this outcome will have a lower chance of winning compared to a favorite, ( - 140 ) however underdogs will yield a higher profit if they win.

Thanks Skully I appreciate it.  The + and - seem backwards to me but hey it makes sense now.   Time to hit the local sports book and make a bet on the Packers.

If I can bet it I may  bet that SF and KC both do not make  the Super Bowl or don't win it.

and dropped a C-note on the Mighty Green Bay Packers to win it all.

They were offering 18-1 odds back in June...

The sound system at the venue is spectacular, Mayer was fantastic. He's not jerry, but he has his own style and he brings an energy boost for the rest of the old guys. Great place to see a great show

Years ago I come across a DVD called "Any Given Thursday".
It was John with a drummer and upright bass player.

Once the Packers start winning, you'll never get these odds again. That's why I bet game #1.....and yes I know the Packers are notoriously slow starters.

They will most likely be favorites in every single game this year, except maybe the Niners & possibly Lions in Detoilet. We'll see.

Under MLF, the Mighty Green Bay Packers have started the season as follows:

2019...  3-1
2020..... 4-0
2021...3-1
2022.....3-1
2023....2-2

Over his first 5 seasons, the MLF - Packers are 15 - 5 in the 1st quarter of the season, a .750 winning percentage. MLF is .674 overall at 56-27.

Here's win totals for 2024- Packers holding steady at 9.5 wins which is only 1/2 game better than the 2023 performance. Its a tougher schedule
