Just curious.
Does beating the Giants and the Bears with your season on the line qualify as winning "big games?"
Does beating the Bears 10-3 in a tough inter-division rivalry qualify as a "close game?"
Educate me.

Bears game - close, but not nail-biting close. To me, nail biting close is when the offense needs to score or it's a loss or defense needs to stop a team from scoring or it is a loss.
Best Bears could do was tie. To me, that is not the same thing.
