Amateurs. Iowa does it every damn week
vikings are 2-4, at home this season. 8-1 last year. Zero Home Field advantage there!
The #Packers are now just a 1/2 game behind the #Seahawks for the final playoff spot. Oh, and they play the #Cowboys on Thursday.

It's amazing how things can change in a couple weeks.
This game should have been flexed to Tuesday morning at 4 am It sucked so bad!

Let's see 'em do it THIS week

As bad as I hate to say it, a month ago I was watching the Packers playing--and looking--much like these 2 teams tonight.
Now, nobody, and I mean nobody!, gives up a lead faster than a Joe Barry defense. That's so constant, it's a given. Yet, the defense may be playing better than earlier in the year.
The offense is a night-and-day difference. They're still not playing good consistently, but they are playing much better.
And you're right, of course.
Still
Keep
On
Losing!!!!!

Not fair to Tuesday mornings.
I watched the game at my local watering hole- In Warrenville IL. All my friends are Bears fans. When they showed the current draft position for the Bears, I (loudly ) suggested they draft 2 QBs in the top 5. Hoots of derision followed. 5 minutes later I had most of the bar on board with the plan.
On the game- Bears LBs look good. They might have overpaid for Edmunds/Edwards but they're fast to the ball and sure tacklers. Dobbs showed why he's on his 7th team in 7 years.
Didn't one of the announcers say something like, "Thank goodness it's over"? The last play was both hilarious and nerve-wracking as I was worried that the Bears -- being the Bears -- would actually give up a TD amid all that wreckage.
If bears fire eberflus at end of year, he would not be a bad replacement for Joe.

After throwing what should have been 6 INT's, they've figured out Dobbs sucks.

The Vikings are going to win too many games to get a shot at either Williams or Maye. They may end up bringing Cousins back next year. Cousins was probably the second or third best QB in the NFC this year (Hurts, Prescott, Cousins).
The franchise QBs are now almost all in the AFC
AFC has Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Stroud, Tua, Jackson, Watson, Burrow, and Lawrence. That's not accounting for Rodgers and Anthony Richardson. They might all be better than anyone in the NFC besides Hurts. Russell Wilson might be better than anyone but Hurts and Prescott.

What's really funny about that is they're blaming Dobbs and his INTs were off receivers hands and facemasks.....tipped balls. Dobbs can't help it if his receivers can't catch.
Dobbs had been playing great for a month before last night.
What KOC is saying is, he's been told to "evaluate" the QB position by someone higher than him in the org. Michigan Packer nailed it. They're trying to figure out how they can get one of the top 2 QBs. After this year, after the Niners lose....Shanarat will go after Cousins. He loves that guy.
When does Purdy get just a bit of praise…if not praise at least some recognition.

I’m definitely no expert on which college QBs translates to the NFL, but I think there’s a number of QB prospects beyond Williams and Maye that at the very least are intriguing.
Penix looks like he’s got a true NFL arm and is having a great year. Bo Nix looks really good as well. His arm is more questionable than Penix, but he’s a really good athlete and might be a decent NFL QB.
I haven’t seen much of Jayden Daniels but I think it’s possible he’ll be worthy of a high pick as well.
It will be interesting to see all the teams that potentially will be “fighting” for position to draft these guys. I think Minnesota, New England, NY Giants, Jets, Seahawks, and maybe some other teams like Rams, Bears, and Cardinals might be looking to draft a QB high.
I think a few weeks ago we thought the Pack might be part of this list, but I think Love has shown enough to buy himself at least another year or 2 of stability if not longer.

I know, he SHOULD be right up there……Mr. Irrelevant indeed.

I see him as a Jimmy G (when healthy)/Kirk Cousins type. I guess time will tell.
Would you trade Jordan Love for him right now if you were the Packers? I wouldn't.
Nope, I keep Love, that has nothing to do with when does Purdy get some love.

I agree on Love. To me he is showing enough progress that he should at least get a couple of seasons with some stability hopefully in the OL and running game.
I am not sure if I was a team need of a QB if I would take Williams out of USC. He seems to have all the tools but he seems to be a bit of a head case especially since he came out and said he would only play for certain teams.
MIN or almost any team with the capital, could pay the kings ransom and move up for a top QB. I've read Murray's contract shackles ARZ from doing that. But the other teams could, as well as some not listed. Seems every year some middling team trades up to get a top QB.
I think Purdy benefits from arguably the best situation in the NFL. Probably the best play caller in Kyle Shanahan, the best LT in Trent Williams, arguably the best set of weapons with McCaffrey, Kittle, Deebo, and Aiyuk, and a top notch defense. And it showed in their three game losing streak, where he was missing Williams and Deebo, with McCaffrey nursing an oblique injury.
I think Purdy is a very good QB and is doing exactly what he needs to do in this situation to win, but I also think you could put at least a dozen other QBs in this system and have them be better than Purdy.
I have no problem with him or anyone saying that, if he truly doesn’t go with who ever drafts him would be an issue however. Why not try your best to get a job in a city that you want to live in? It also lets the buyer beware of what you are getting.

For all the complaining we've heard about Jordan Love on this board, how many QBs that the Packers have played against this season would be worth trading Love for? I count one, Herbert.

He gets recognition. @CUPackFan nailed it. Their window is NOW because they have a QB on a rookie deal.
Did you not see that 3 game losing streak?? They were missing some weapons....at that point it's all about the QB covering your warts. We saw EXACTLY what Mr. Irrelevant is all about.
When Purdy does it without that defense and those offensive weapons and he actually makes no name players better around him, THAT is when he will get truly praised.....and it will be well deserved at that point. Until then.....he's a "System QB"

If Purdy reaches free agency, he'll have the reputation of being a systems QB.
To me, he's like Tom Brady. Just good at decision making, working within the system.
