It's going to be tough to talk your way out of that post. I saw it yesterday and I had to think it was just a momentary lapse of common sense...

Some guys take 4/20 pretty seriously. The Waldos would be proud.

Thanks for this confirmation that your post was about your ego and need for attention.

Your first attempt failed so you stepped it up. Gebins. Mission accomplished.

So we'll spend a boatload of money to save this guys life, so we can.....

....spend a boatload of money to try him in a court of law, so we can....

.......we can spend a boatload of money housing him in a federal penitentiary until he is possibly/probably executed.

Confused

You have been trying and failing to be funny on this site for 11 years. You are not funny. Your cop fetish is a totally different subject. It's not a good look for you.

No one reads your tivo posts. No one cares. Celebrities die and it's reported more than enough on the rest of the innerwebs. Might be time to try something different.

....spend a boatload of money to try him in a court of law, so we can.... Well, it is the 6th Amendment...

.......we can spend a boatload of money housing him in a federal penitentiary until he is possibly/probably executed. I'm with you on why these executions drag on for so long.

i take it you're not a humanitarian? ya see, there's this thing called human rights, and here the United States, the self-proclaimed "greatest country on earth", we like to promote individual liberties and human rights (at least we try). terrorist or not, he is in fact a human being and deserves to be treated like one.

shut up.

curious what kind of tune you would be singing if it was a member of your family blown up or maimed.
Human beings deserve to be treated like human beings right up to the point they cease to behave like human beings.

Pressure cooker bombs hell bent on taking lives. Carjacking, kidnapping, killing a cop, robbery, murder. Do that and you waive your rights as part of the general population.

Our founding fathers pretty much nailed due process. But they didn't have the foresight of extremist and mass bombings and the senseless loss of innocent lives. If they did, my gut tells me they'd hit the reset button and make exceptions. No fault on them. No one thought s**t would come to this.
human beings deserved to be treated like human beings because they're human beings.

if you don't believe in human rights just say so. but don't bitch when the federal government wants to run a background check before you buy that AR with a 30 round mag to 'defend yourself'

I believe in human rights. I'm also a believer in rules of engagement. I'd like to know about perceived danger before an IED is lit. Don't tell anyone and proceed, everyone is better off if they're in a zippered bag.

Been back and forth over my lifetime over the death penalty---however I 've never really given a rip about being "humane" to the inhumane.

I'm currently in the camp of letting 'em stare at four walls for 50 years.

Costs less than killing 'em.

Treating pigs like pigs never made me lose any sleep.
I typically appreciate your point of view Bubbleboy, but terrorism by its very nature is premeditated murder of the innocent. The people that engage in such acts don't deserve to have any rights once prosecuted. Are you saying Bin Laden and Hussein deserved to live after the wicked crimes they committed over and over?

This.

19 years old and looks about 15. Skinny kid who will undoubtedly become someone named Bubba's girlfriend. On top of that, with what he did he will be at the level of respect child molesters and rapists get. You kill women and kids and that's about as bad as it gets.

This young man will be wishing for death. If he doesn't get it, he's looking at a life of hell in there for about 50 years.

EDIT: Chris Rock sums it up well in a stand up routine called "tossed salad". Not for work by any means. But let's just say he summarizes it well about the joys of prison.

What about corporations that knowingly poison people to a slow death but continue on because a few payoffs are cheaper to the bottom line?

Yeah, ethics.

The whole point being we have a slow, plodding justice system for a reason. Even with all its warts it's still the one of the best things going.

I'm done. Carry on.

You lay the same tired left wing crap on us then spray spittle when someone deigns to respond.

What about unions yammering for obamacare, it's passed, unions immediately yammer for waivers from it, and the apparatchiks grant them.

Yeah, ethics.

The point is we're supposed to have EQUAL protection under the law not some tyranny with BS waivers for some. If obamacare is so great, why doesn't it apply to everyone EQUALLY?

I'm done. Sheeple unit. Carry on.
Yammering for a law then yammering for waivers so they're exempt isn't ethical, it's bald-faced tyranny when the hypocrites get the waivers.

Henry's typical screed stayed up for almost a day without response. Sorry.

Btw, justice delayed is justice denied. They have so much evidence against that Dartmouth **** that the trial should last no longer than a week.

(Of course, some rat-faced justice dept flunky will probably claim it's "workplace violence" and the trial gymnastics will drag on like hASSan's.)
Way to put him in his place, Hoss.

I'm sure he'll stay there this time. Because you lay your arguments out so much more rationally.

I look forward to this thread growing to 26 pages by Tuesday morning. Sure I do.
I had heard the younger brother terrorist was in bad shape so he may not make it. Maybe that's changed but we may not get to see justice (whatever your view) served in this case.

I think the uncle summed it up best. These "losers" don't deserve the level of attention we are giving them. More attention should go toward the victim and Feds and first responders. **** those two russkies and the horse they rode in on. Nobody gets over on us in our country and I hope this sends a message to other nutjobs (foreign or domestic) that if you mess with the bull you'll get the horns.
