Bowl projections: Stanford's loss shuffles BCS picture

Depends on which writer you are reading. I read one where Michigan State gets an at large BCS bid and the Badgers are Outback Bowl bound.  Either way, they will play on Jan. 1, 2014 or later.

Of course that is presuming we can win out.  I really think we should be able to do that with the way our team is playing right now.  I have heard the same as you too Ammo, another factor could be a top team losing again, which would throw some more chaos in the mix.

I don't know if somehow they get some consideration for the ASU screw-job, but either way it comes down to us winning out.  Then let the chips fall where they may.  I am happy watching them on Jan. 1st or after! 

If it is OSU vs MSU for the Title, and MSU plays them tough but loses, I think they'll get the nod over the Badgers.

If you want the Badgers in a BCS game you have to be pulling for Ohio State to run the table and for Michigan State to lose again.

If the Badgers and Spartans end up with the same record I would think UW would get the nod.

WIS wins out and maybe this? Rose Bowl vs AZ St.

a - Fl St and Ohio St win out

b - Auburn beats Bama, and then Mizzou beats Auburn in SEC title game

c - AZ St beats Stanford in Pac-12 title game

???

Super unlikely, but would be pretty cool to have a rematch!

While I would LOVE to see Bucky back in the Rose Bowl against ASU (or anyone else for that matter), how does MSU as Big Ten runner-up not represent the conference in the RB if OSU makes it to the national championship game?  

Lose to OSU in two weeks, then lose again to OSU in the B1G title game.

My bad... the schedule already reflects the 12/7 title game between them. 

If MSU and UW end up with the same records, it will come down to who they think the better team is*, and invite them to the bowl game.

*which team will bring more fans to the location

Stewart Mandel's latest projections has O$U playing for the National Championship. Michigan State plays Stanford in the Rose Bowl, Wisconsin vs. Missouri in the Capital One Bowl and Iowa vs. Texas A&M in the Outback. Other BIG TEN teams are Michigan vs. Georgia, Minnesota vs. Texas Tech and Nebraska vs. Texas.

If that is the way it goes down I'd bet the Big Ten loses all their bowl games.

It depends on which Badger team shows up.  If it is the one from last Saturday they will lose. I think Nebraska should beat Texas if it comes to that. MSU should beat Stanford too. The rest will be tough match ups, I agree.
