I don't really care either way about the name. I'm not offended by it, and I wouldn't care one bit if the name was changed. I can understand how a Native American may be bothered by it, but when one considers the state that group of people is in, the name of a sports franchise should be very far down their list of priorities. What really bothers me are all the pompous, white urban windbags like Costas who seem to draw pleasure from being offended on everyone else's behalf.

Maybe they do have a lot of benefits these days, but the life of an Indian (especially one on a reservation) tends to be about as miserable as it can get in a developed nation. If I were a member of some tribe, the name of a sports franchise would be about #2499 on my list of gripes.
