I put a pound in the food processor with 8 oz cream cheese, a healthy shot of worst and some garlic and let her ride until smooth. Fold in home made pickled sweet peppers and consume with a nice Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest
I like it sliced thick, with a slice of raw sweet onion on rye. A cold beer to wash it down followed in the evening with a good tooth brushing and a rolaid or two.
I like it on a hearty wheat with sharp cheddar and real mayo. I'd be tempted to try the dip with sour cream.

Is there a favorite brand of braunschweiger you use? I like Sheboygan Braunschweiger the best. It has a cleaner aftertaste than some of the other brands, Ive had. Delicious on a Ritz cracker with some thinly sliced onions on it. Takes me back to my childhood.
