I received an e-mail from the NFL yesterday evening inviting me & the other diehards to breakfast with Roger Goodell on Saturday April 28th.

This is a fan forum much like we saw when Roger was in the Atrium at Lambeau.

FYI, I'm one of 80 people on the planet that has diehard status for the NFL draft, Everyone else has to stand in line for tickets which are still free by the way.

This is your chance to give me a question to ask Goodell.

P.S. All the funny ones have been taken already.

Ask him if the NFL is looking into a Developmental league like the NBA has? I know they have the NCAA, but NFL-E years ago really did offer some nice development guys. If he really wants to expand to 18 games and overseas, the NFL will need something more than what the NCAA provides.

What question was that?

Boris should ask Roger is improving the quality of football being played is a goal of his. I'd argue there is still way too much bad football being played in the NFL.

The talent pool is really only big enough to support 28 NFL teams IMO JMO.
Dear Roger, the two biggest "customers" of the NFL are the loyal fans and the broadcast networks

IF the fans want one thing and the networks want another - who wins that battle ?

For example - the fans want fewer commercials, the networks want more. So far, the NFL has chosen to support the networks each and every time- when do we fans get a say in the game we pay for ?

Thanks

Dear Roger,

Can you give us any justification for the ongoing presence of the Minnesota Vikings in this Professional League ?

Dear Roger,

Is Jerry Jones as big an ******* in person as he seems on TV ?

Dear Roger,

Jerry Rice fumbled

Dear Roger,

How are you planning to work with the newly formed NFL Fans Union ( NFLFU)

They have some very interesting ideas/demands to "improve" the game viewing experience

Dear Roger,

Do you know who Boris is ?

Good Luck and enjoy the tour
1) Mr Commissioner,
Are you more worried about the collusion of players and coaches putting bounties on the opposing team with legal hits OR the collusion of players tanking it on the field in contract years?

2) Mr. Commissioner,
Is there a relationship between NFL owners and the Vegas betting odds-makers
that you are aware of, even of passing on of inside data?
Follow-Up: If not, then why the injury report every week, why would you need that to be public?
Ask him how soon he envisions an NFL franchise outside of North America? And, does he think that there would be a league of European teams that would come into the league at the same time that would play each other twice a year and then play other current teams the balance of their schedule?
Mr. Goodell, why does NFL Network have such morons such as Sapp, Irvin, etc for talking heads? You come down hard on players who are crim inals and thugs, why do you keep trotting these guys out there for the public to listen to?
Grandfathered in. Can't get diehard status anymore since they changed the draft format. Only 80 of us left. Got it by staying start to finish on Sunday in 2007.

I have to be there from start to finish on the last day (Saturday). Doesn't make any sense for anyone else to stay that long. (Shocking how many people actually do!) I know I wouldn't if it didn't mean keeping my status.

2009 Jerry Angelo really pissed off me & coach (and the rest of the crowd too) by taking the full 5 minutes on 2 picks late in the 7th round. What really made us mad was the fact these are compensatory picks which we all know cannot be traded. So it's not like he's working the phones. Every other team took 2-3 minutes to make their pick, maximum. Some teams took 5-10 seconds.

One of the guys he chose is still on the team (Lance Louis)

Still, Angelo acted like these picks were going to make or break the Bear franchise. Thank god he's fired now.
