Now if I could just cure my Lycanthropy with something other than silver.

What do you think it is like to wear my moccasins? I just don't want anyone to needlessly suffer and I am willing to be the recipient of ridicule and harshness so as to have my say.

It appears to me your lycanthropy comment means that in the complete absence of investigation, your mind is completely made up.

I don't think such a posture stands up to rational assessment.

It's as much PR for the NFL as it is cancer awareness.

Of course it is, they already have the male demographic dialed in and they strongly desire to add more female viewers while showing just how much they care

That's why we hear about Tom Brady's love life, who Tony Romo is dating and the obligatory shots of the latest/greatest starlets in the stadium.

Also there is a baking soda treatment for cancer that has shown remarkable success but the doctor who discovered and administered it had his medical license revoked. Cancer is a very political dis-ease.

Then there is Vitamin B17. A carbon in the molecule contains four groups. Two are sugars, one is a cyanide, and one a benzaldehyde.

The cyanide and benzaldehyde are toxic, but not if the bond linking them to the carbon is not broken. Taken together, there is a synergy effect (read: much more toxic). Cancer cells contain an enzyme that breaks the bond. And so if folks merely had Vitamin B17 in their diet, no cancer. Analogous to no scurvy if people get Vitamin C. (No other cell in the body contains the enzyme.)

A family pracitioner (now deceased) who was once a skeptic, wrote a book on his treatment of patients. He cured patients who even had metastatic cancer. Book available on-line.

Then you got Royal Rife...

They do not want a cure.

Ernst T. Krebs, Jr.—Laetrile's "father"—has often been referred to as "Dr. Krebs" although he has no accredited doctoral degree. He attended Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia from 1938 to 1941, but was expelled after repeating his freshman year and failing his sophomore year [3]. After taking courses in five different colleges and achieving low or failing grades in his science courses, he finally received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois in 1942 [3]. In 1973, after giving a 1-hour lecture on Laetrile, he obtained a "Doctor of Science" degree from American Christian College, a small, now-defunct Bible college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The school, founded by evangelist Billy James Hargis, had no science department and lacked authority from Oklahoma to grant any doctoral degrees.
I don't think it has anything to do with PR. Can you imagine how many NFL fans aren't aware of breast cancer? They need to be informed. I'll bet there were millions of people that watched four weeks worth of games last year, and still have no idea that breasts can get cancer. Now they'll get four more weeks of games with pink gear this year. I mean, I know they didn't figure it out last time, but surely this year it will get through to them.

Honestly, I'm not sure four weeks of awareness promotion is enough. I think I'm now more in favor of an 18 game season so there will be two more weeks to let people know that breasts, while fun for motor-boating, can also kill you if you don't wear enough pink.
not sure about moccasins, but I know a guy with magnet hands who knows a lot about this stuff, I'll ask him.

(lets also get right on past the pretense that your statements were not filled to the brim with posture. I've {as have many here} dealt with cancer very closely and watched loved ones sink into any desperate measure to cure this mother****** of a disease. They were also sold that all would be well if they "followed protocol" and the only ones who died were just non-compliant. 5 minutes on a reputable journal will show you that your snake oil isn't effective. I have no problem whatsoever about making wise decisions about what goes into your body, either on a plate, in a pill or in a needle, but using fear and anecdotal evidence to make a broad sweeping statement about all the people choosing what has been evaluated to be the best treatment for a terrible disease as being sheep unwilling to see the light towards a cure, then you deserve the ridicule.)

Really? I think more guys than female fans are interested in Brady's and Romo's love live to get the pics and feeling "wish that were me." Wink

As for the Packers having a large female fan base, I get that after going to some games. GB fans are great to kids, the swearing and drunkenness is at a minimum compared to most NFL stadiums, and the atmosphere is family friendly. I'm not afraid to take my kids to a game at Lambeau, while I would never take them to most other stadiums. I asked a dude a couple years ago to quit swearing since I had my 4-year-old with me, and the guy shut his pie hole for the rest of the game. That's the type of thing that helps bring in female fans and kids.
