Meyers has a pretty high ERA at 5.40 on only 26 innings pitched. Crew bats are really going to need to come alive to win this one. Currently ESPN gamecast is calling it about 50-50 either way.

Crew jumps out to a 2 - 0 lead on a base hit by Ortiz scoring Frelick and Hoskins who both had base hits. Now Perkins triples driving in Ortiz.  3 - 0 Brewers still batting in the 2nd.

They get 2 more in the 2nd.  Turang drives in Perkins with a single. Yelich singles sending Turang to 3rd.  On a double steal attempt Tigers screw it up and Yelich is safe and Turang jogs home.  5 - 0 Crew, Tigers now batting in the 2nd.

Here we go again in the 4th.  Perkins and Turang score on a Contreras double.  And this was after Ortiz was thrown out at 3rd on the Perkins hit.  7 - 0 now, still batting in the 4th.

Frelick singles driving in Contreras.  Now 8 - 0 Brewers, going into bottom of the 4th.   This is impressive. After the debacle in Philly these guys could have wondered what was happening. Instead they go into Detoilet and pound the ball all over the park.

And into the 5th. A walk by Bauers, Perkins 2nd triple of the night drives in Bauers and Turang singles letting Perkins score. Now 10 - 0 Brewers.  Tigers soon batting in the 5th.

After 5 Brewers now have a 99.8% chance of winning.

Holy guacamole, I can't check in for awhile and now see 10-0 Crew. They have unleashed the Kraken tonight. About time. I'm guessing Tigers just go through the motions the rest of the game. ESPN Gamecast now has it 99.8 for the Crew to win.

Brewers win 10 - 0 on a 2 hitter.  Myers gave up a single to the 1st batter and the other Tiger hit came in the 9th but a double play ended the game.

So tomorrows game time is 3:10. It features Freddie Peraltra vs. Casey Mize.  Mize is 1 - 3 with a 4.70 ERA.  Win this one and take the series.

Tigers lead 4-3 middle of 3rd. Crew scored 2 in their portion of the 3rd. Crew had bases loaded and no outs, but only managed to score the 2 runs. Freddy has something like 76 pitches after 3.

Once again the Brewer Bullpen does the job!    5.2 innings, 8 Ks, 0 BB and 0 runs. Crew win 5 - 4 on a Chourio double driving in 2 in the 6th.  His confidence will only get better.   What is rong with Peralta?  He says he's O K. but he sure as hell isn't pitching like it.

Had to step away for awhile, glad to see when I returned we held our lead and won. Though the Crew stranded to many runners, this should have been an easier win. But any win is a good win. Time to get the sweep tomorrow.

Also, the scrubs lost

After Adames and Contreras break the team record of consecutive starts by team mates, 64 games, it looks like Contreras finally has a complete day off.  I wonder if he will pinch hit if the game is tight late?

May be an image of ‎1 person, playing baseball and ‎text that says '‎STARTING LINEUP AT 姐 JUNE 9 و 12:40PM CT 製 3B ORTIZ HOSKINS LF VELICH SS ADAMES C SÁNCHEZ GF PERKINS RF CHOURIO 18 MONASTERIO 2B TURANG p WILSON បណ NICOLET LAW ACCIOENT INJUR ACCDENT&MURYLAWYERS LAW LAWYERS‎'‎‎

Brewers shit the bed today. Wilson gives up 7 runs in 4.1 innings on 6 hits and 2 BB.   Then Milner comes in and gives up 3 more runs without getting an out. Brewer get a run in the 7th when Chourio singled and Turang tripled.  Another run in the 9th, Monasterio doubled driving in Sanchez who singled. Final 10 - 2.  Oh well, it happens.  Going home to take on the Blue Jays starting Monday.

Their pitcher today was pretty damn good, ours not so much. Glad I had other obligations today and was not able to follow the game.

Skubal is the leading Cy Young candidate in the AL right now (8-1 with a 1.92 ERA and has struck out 95 in 79 innings). At least if you are going to give up a lot of runs, it might as well be in a case where your offense is going to struggle against an ace and let some of your main guys get some rest in the later innings.
