It's time for the 'Best Sport In America' to basically kick off its new season.

I'm picking the Crew to battle the Pirates for 3rd place in the Division. Health will be the determining factor whether they place 3rd or flounder near the bottom with the Cubs.

Player wise, will Gomez repeat his last season; will Segura be the 1st half player or 2nd half player or somewhat in the middle from last season; will Ramirez stay on the diamond; what will the season hold for Braun; will Garza and Estrada stay healthy; will Gallardo improve from last season;  how will the platoon of Gennett and Week turn out; plus the platoon of Overbay and Reynolds; will Wang stay with the club all year, once injuries start to pick up.

Watching Mark Reynolds perform(or Strike out) will make all Brewer fans yearn for Rob Deer again.

These are just some of the reasons I'm picking the Crew to place 3rd this season. Everything and everyone will have to perform better for them to beat out the Cards and Reds.

Plus, it doesn't help that the early part of the season is brutal schedule wise.

Funny how you use a football reference to talk about baseball.

Of course, the real football season is coming to a climax, with the quarterfinals being this week.

Of course the Brewers' schedule is brutal.  They have to play 18 games against the strong teams in the division, while the other teams get 18 games against the Brewers.
