Gonna be an interesting series considering we been playing well and the Cubs have just got swept at Wrigley by the Pirates.

Agree it will be interesting due the good start. Sounds like Stearns has been in talks with the Dodgers about Braun. He has a no-trade clause in his contract, but the Dodgers are one of 6 teams that he can be dealt to without his approval.
According to MLB.com: On May 24, the no-trade clause becomes void when Braun attains 10-and-5 status (10 years in majors, 5 years with same team), which gives him veto power over any trade.
We shall see.

Feliz threw a gopher ball that said lets go home before it left his hand, We can only hope he missed rather than giving less effort.
6-3 on the road trip. In the 3 losses we played competitive baseball. Some mistakes were made, but it's gonna happen at times. Would have be great to take the series from the Cubs, we were in all these games. There is a sense of improvement so far. If there can be more consistency at the plate from some of the guys other than Braun ,Thames, and Shaw we can be quite a solid team. Looking forward to Garza's return. Back to Miller for a nice long home stand.
