The Brewers declined to offer Ryan Braun the $15 million option for 2021. His contract has a $4 million buyout. Looks like this is the end of the road for Braun in Milwaukee.

We'll never forget you, Bryan!
Ahhhhhhhh, shoot. Wonder if heβll go elsewhere. Gonna miss his name being called or just being around.

Fixed.
He will retire
I could see him playing for one of the Southern California teams on a 4-5 million contract. He can clearly still hit. Even though he was very similar against lefties and righties this year, in his career he has a 989 OPS against lefties (856 against right-handers). He'd fit well as a platoon player and pinch hitter.
Whether he wants to keep playing is one question. Whether a team like the Dodgers, Angels, or Padres wants to deal with his PED past is another.
It will be interesting to see if they bring back the DH for next season. If they do, Iβd say thereβs a good chance he will play. He can still hit. Some team will take a chance on him.
Brewers can not afford to pay a DH $15 Million when they need good corner infielders. Bye bye Braun.
If they werenβt going to pay Moose or Grandal 15-20MM they arenβt going to pay a banged up broken down Braun that kind of dough even if itβs just for one year.
