Not a Marco fan, but Willy just doesn't have it.  Need Marco to keep it close and eat some innings.

I thought it was my fault for starting the Padres thread that they lost 2of 3. Guess not now.

They looked flat in S.D., and they look flat tonight.  Obviously it starts with the pitching.  But the errors, not hitting the cutoffs, flailing away at pitches a foot out of the strike zone are catching up with them.  Fortunately the Cards have been just as bad.

Keep it close?  Marco was just as bad if not worse than Peralta

Jimmy will be heading to the pen. One, a bad start by Wily doesn't mean boot him. Two, Jimmy has pitched out of the pen before.

Chicago beat the Cards today so Milwaukee needs to take advantage

Peavy with a no-hitter thru 7 innings against the Brewers.  SF shortstop Crawford with two great plays to keep the no-hitter in tack.
