and I know this is gonna sound like I’m not a brewer fan……but when did Yeller move to left field??  Ok, ok, stupid question, I live in MN so don’t get the news.  I could go to the Crew’s home page but I haven’t, and like other sites more.  So, when did that happen??

I’m too many cervezas in to get sarcasm. I hope it was. But if not…A a Milwaukee native whose Dad worked for the Brewers’ front office, who personally won 2 World Series as a player with 2 different teams who managed a team to their first back to back post seasons, reaching game 7 of the NLCS, who has lead his team to 4 consecutive post season births who is the winningest manager in Brewers history at 51 years young you want to fire him??????

Hader, non-withstanding a couple of previous short stretches, has been really good for 6 years. That's not normal for non-Mariano Rivera closers and when a closer loses it, it often goes fast (Axford, or even think as far back as Plesac).

Hader needs some time to regroup and find some more movement on his pitches, while finding the strike zone. Weird saying this for a guy going to the All Star game. Counsell has to manage his team to be successful in the short term while managing the psyche and physical health of his players for the long term. Not easy to do. If anyone can balance all that, I trust Counsell can.

I won’t pretend to be an expert on the balk rule, but the announcers watched the replay 5 times and were incredulous.
