Reason #876
On Sunday Night Baseball just now, grounds to 2nd base, dogs it up the line and would have been safe if he'd run it full out because the first baseman had to leave the bag to make the catch.

Get off my lawn guy

Tshmack, the voice of reason and calm.
Make love not war.
That was reason and it was calm
Harper is one reason people should watch MLB. Good young exciting player
The suggestion he doesnβt play hard is silly
I think it is perfectly fair for guys, sitting on their couches, to complain about players not running out every play like they were chased by the cops.
Rock did that the other day about Thames on the Sogard can of corn that the Marlins dropped. If not busting ass on routine plays means sometimes on an error they don't take an extra base but also are on the field for 10 more games, i'll take the trade off.
Iβm not sure Harper has gotten into trouble off the field. Is he outspoken? Probably. Does he rail against the βunwritten rulesβ crowd? Certainly. But heβs fun to watch and is off to a pretty good start. OBP of .460 and OPS of 1.098 is impressive.

I happened to be on my tread-mill busting my ass when I saw that play---not really, but that would have shot down your argument nicely.
Harper is a generational talant, no doubt...I just like how guys like Trout go about their business.
I would pay money to see the exchange between Tschmack and Harper when Harper refused to sign an autograph for him.....talk about fireworks!
Seeking out autographs is not my cup of tea
If it was he could gladly punch me in the face as Iβm not sure why someone in their 40s would do that
