I never go to BSPN, they offer nothing but crapola

If you use the archive page then SI isn't so bad

Try here for SI : http://mmqb.si.com/archive/   Its just a list of stories without all the crapola

Also with any web page, you can right click on a page and it brings up a menu of choices

Choose " View Page info" and it will bring up another menu of choices

Select " persmissions" and you can then turn off pop- ups, turn off the auto-load images, turn off any number of annoying features like java plug- ins etc. Once you save the permissions for that website they will always be in place every time you visit.

Its one way to make the web a little less ADD

The ESPN website sucked before, in general, and looks indecipherable now.

There is some good specialized content. I use their in-game box scores for NCAA football and basketball. The NFL division blogs and team blogs (Rob Demovsky for the Packers) are good. As are the European soccer blogs on ESPN FC. Grantland is technically an ESPN site and has the best sports/culture writing on the web IMO.

The rest is dreck.
