No Giannis tonight.....
No Kris Dunn & no Otto Porter for Bulls.

Bucks should win this game easily, even without Giannis.
Time to play solid basketball without your Superstar ๐

Not a good start, Boris. Down 10-2 pretty quickly.
Bucks giving up layup after layup. Down 38-25 after 1.
That's more like it. A 38-16 2nd quarter puts them up 9 at the half.
Thatโs a pretty impressive 2nd quarter. 38-16 with Middleton and Brogdon leading the way with 16 and 13 respectively. Bucks are 9-25 from 3, but it seemed like 6 or 7 of them came in the second quarter.
6 minutes left 101-88.
Keep the pressure on. No mercy!
Good win. And none of the starters played more than 27 minutes.
Good win... taking care of business without Giannis on the road is a very good thing. Middleton/Brogdon/Bledsoe did what they do, and after giving up 38 in q1 they shut them down after that.
Well coached, well executed.
They were outscored 18-16 to finish the game. Unacceptable!!

Great win on the road minus the Superstar. Well played from Q2 on. Beat an inferior team as they're supposed to.
46-14....22 games left. Keep grinding!
Brook Lopez is so under-rated. Outside, Inside, rebounding, rim protection, etc.....does it all.

The mind-boggling thing about Lopez is that he is the perfect type of guy to play with LeBron and he played for the Lakers last year. The Lakers didn't even make an attempt to retain him. LeBron needs to be surrounded by the same type of guys you put around Giannis. They have to be able to play well without being ball dominant, they have to space the floor by knocking down 3s, and LeBron's teams need guys that can play physical at the basket on defense so that LeBron doesn't get worn down from having to do that for 48 minutes.
Lopez shot 35% from 3 last year and is a great rim protector. He's basically a combination of some of the best traits of Kevin Love (3 point shooting for a big guy) and Tristan Thompson (defense at the rim). Two of the main guys the Cavaliers surrounded LeBron with for years. The thing is - Lopez is a much better defender than Kevin Love and he's a much better post-up threat than Tristan Thompson. Lopez is making 3 million this year. Kevin Love just started a 4 year/120 million contract and Tristan Thompson has another year on a 5 year, 82 million dollar contract.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Lopez in the off-season. Even though he may be their 4th or 5th best player, he is arguably their 2nd most important player. He's 30 years old, but he should probably get something like 3 years and 40 million for his next contract.
I am guessing heโll want more than what heโs getting. The Bucks cannot pay them all. But itโs Lopezโs communication that is a significant key to their #1 defensive ranking. Very bright, instinctive player. If he performs well in the playoffs, heโll get an 8 figure deal.
