Giannis goes on a personal 7-0 run and the Bucks are up 4 at the half. Would have like to have seen Sterling Brown get a decent look at the end there. 2.8 seconds, picks up the ball near mid court, things he can get all the way to the cup. Pull up and get a basket, kid...

This shit is getting really old... Giannis gets raped every time into the paint, yet he can breathe on anyone. 4 fouls now...

That 5th was a call you don't see on a guy off the bench, let alone a superstar. Just ridiculous

Another sloppy game, but another W. Brook Lopez has picked up the scoring for Middleton, and DD was scalding in the first half. Hill again with another fine game off the bench.

Giannis another ho-hum 30 point double-double.

I didn’t get to watch the game so no idea what happened to Matthews?

Not their A game judging from the comments and looking at the box score but another win to get them to 10-3 including a 7-2 record now on the road.

Something to consider -  only 8 teams in the league have a winning record on the road and that doesn’t include a few of the so called contenders like the Sixers or Clippers or Jazz or Raptors.

Boston is rolling but their next dozen or so games look pretty tricky including road games at the Clippers and Nuggets this week.

A challenge for Milwaukee is just staying engaged and focused during some of these regular season games.

I watched the game. Matthews wasn't terrible and played his usual good defense, but DiVencenzo, Hill, and Brown all played very well and took a lot of the minutes that Matthews would have gotten. When those 3 (and Bledsoe) all play between 25 and 30 minutes (and Connaughton plays 15) the minutes have to come from someone.

Donte played well, but Sterling Brown was particularly outstanding. He was +28 in 25 minutes. He stuffed the box score - 8 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists. He probably needs even more minutes going forward.

The offensive fouls on Giannis are way out of control. It must be a point of emphasis from the league office.

Last year he had 68 offensive fouls in 72 games. After last night's 5 offensive fouls, he's up to 23 in 13 games.

I think teams are going to a strategy of flopping against him much more and it's working to some degree.

The Bucks are rolling at 10-3 and two of the losses are probably wins if Giannis doesn't foul out.

He also obviously has to get his free throw shooting to be more consistent.

He's on Pace for about 140 off. Fouls.

Yeah that makes sense.

Thanks for the info on Matthews. Only watched last 6-7 minutes of 4th Q.

So basically....I turned it on...and so did the Bucks. 😲😁

Matthews will always take the other teams best wing and shut him down. When the Bucks need big time D in the backcourt, they have several options. As DD gets more experience, now you have 3 Gs that can be lock down defenders. Connaughton then fills in spaces as a niche player who can help rebounding, affect 3 point shooters, etc. and they can add Sterling Brown to the mix. 5 deep at the G position to keep them all fresh. It’s a wonderful problem.

There will not be another Fred Van Vleet going off this year...

Korver is really the only guy on the entire roster that is a liability defensively. And he's still better than Mirotic. Mirotic is the guy who hurt them more than anyone else against the Raptors.

If they stay healthy, the playoffs may come down to how the Refs officiate Giannis on drives and how well he hits FTs.

I still think one of the biggest mistakes last season was not giving Sterling Brown more playing time in the playoffs.  He can D up with bigger guards and his energy is infectious.   The guy is also a pretty decent 3pt shooter when he needs to be.

Hill and Brogdon earned the right to get minutes but it was obvious that Bledsoe and Mirotic were off so Bud should have adjusted more minutes toward Sterling Brown and maybe even Ersan.

They have so many more options this season even without Brogdon.  Pat C, Sterling Brown, and DD give them a bit more size and physicality and they all get after it on defense.  At times v Toronto they needed a stop and for as much as I like Brogdon that was asking a lot for him to defend a guy like Kahwi.

I also think in key moments Korver gives them a reliable shooter they didn’t really have outside of George Hill.  Mirotic was supposed to be that guy but it didn’t happen.
