Allen was targeted by the Celtics' offense. He has not played good defense against them, ever, that I can remember. Ingles, at least, drained two 3s, in critical spots, to keep the Bucks in the game. Ingles also made two FTs. He put up 11 points against the Celtics. Allen had 8 points. Bucks were 13 of 31 shooting 3s, against the Celtics. Celtics were 19 of 39 from 3.
I’m willing to cut Ingles a little more slack given his injury situation, but again, if the Bucks play the Celtics in the postseason you can’t play the guy.
It’s a tough situation for Milwaukee because he’s a solid regular season guy, but if you could make a trade to get another big that can shoot and defend or a 3 and D guy I think you need to make that move. Boston is the one team that matches up well because they can throw several bigs at Giannis and obviously Tatum and Brown are really good.
