Bucks up 38-26 after one. Giannis with 12.

Thanasis is the first guy off the bench and again looks like a real NBA player. Strips Kawhi, isolates against a guy and hits a driving layup. He played 7 minutes and was +15 for +/-. All of sudden, as Music City said in another thread, he's developed into a legit rotation guy.

For some completely indefensible reason, Bud decided to go to zone against the Clippers and they have gotten destroyed. Really questionable decision schematically.

Down double digits after several WIDE open 3s go down for the Clippers.

The Bucks clearly are not trying to win this game. And their poor offense is 100% all about shot selection and ball movement.

They’re not even trying on defense- they go zone and then give up open 3s. They go man and give up open 3s. They don’t give a fuck tonight...

With both Portis and Tucker out and Lopez being almost unplayable tonight, they have no bigs on the floor. The thing that really killed them is rebounding.

Bucks outrebounded 35-22 after giving up 9 offensive rebounds.

I still have no idea why you'd go zone for that long against this Clippers team. It was idiotic and completely changed the whole game. It turned a one-possession game into a double-digit Clippers lead in about 3 minutes.

The Bucks have allowed the Celtics and Clippers to go 40 for 80 from 3 the last 2 games. Why in god's name would go zone like Bud did against this team?

Giannis with the quietest 32 point game you'll ever see.

From the time that Bud went to the zone, the Clippers outscored the Bucks 53-32 in the last 17 minutes. He didn't stay in zone for more than 3 minutes, but it got the Clippers in a groove. They hit 13 threes in those 17 minutes.

They got their asses kicked, pure and simple.

Portis isn’t much of a defender but he’s a spark offensively off the bench.  Tucker is the same, but on defense.  The Bucks had neither and it showed.

Giving up 56% shooting from 3 is bad enough, but getting out rebounded by 14? You will not beat good teams with that kind of stat line.
