Giannis a late scratch. I guess the Bucks didn't want to take a chance they'd get back to 500 tonight?

This is an NBA cup game too. Tells you how little the teams care about the in-season tournament that they chose to sit GIannis tonight after two days off.
What a league
That flagrant on Trent was bullshit. Can you imagine today's rules in the 80s?

If they called it with that threshold, Giannis would get fouled flagrantly about 5 times a game.
Bucks up 11 after one as Dame goes for 17 points and 3 assists. Not much offensive firepower tonight with Giannis and Middleton (still) both out, and it's not clear what Dame is doing is sustainable once the Heat actually start playing defense.
Bucks have Beauchamp and Connaughton out on the floor together in a game they are supposedly trying to win?

Along with D. Wright, Portis, and Trent Jr?
Does Doc have money on the Heat tonight ?
Somehow this unit is holding its own.
Khris Middleton is expected to be back after Thanksgiving.
Iâll believe it when I see it.
Whatâs wrong with Giannis?
Owie
Bucks up 65-51 at the half, despite the Heat getting 23 FTs in the first half (Bucks have 5).
Dame on a heater tonite.
btw let me just leave this here
@NathanMarzion: Damian Lillard this season is averaging 25 points, 7 assists, and fewer than 3 turnovers.
The only other time a player has done that since the league started tracking turnovers in 1977 was Damian Lillard in 2019-20.
Bucks got up by 20, but the Heat are climbing back into this. Frustrating that Giannis is sitting.
Bucks falling apart. Offensive sets look terrible now that the Heat have decided to play defense. 20 point lead down to single digits.
5 point lead. Bucks offense is basically strangled. Heat end the quarter on a 20-5 run. Heat may win by double digits.
Bucks up 4 with the ball and under 35 seconds left. Jackson Jr. with a horrific turnover and the Heat get an open 3 at the other end.
Jackson Jr. with a pass you'd bench a high school player for
Then the Bucks blow the possession up 1 and get a 24 second violation
Damn.....so close ... Still in his hand on that 3 pointer. C'mon DEFENSE
Bucks don't deserve to lose this game
Awesome. Prince gets the rebound and gets fouled immediately....drains both free throws.
Bucks up 3, 1.2 seconds left....1 more defensive hold
just win baby
Bucks hold on for a nice win without Giannis or Middleton. Back to 500
Rozier misses the deep 3. Thank Christ
3-0 in cup play MINUS Giannis tonight
AJ Green is a keeper

He played Butler tonight better than Holiday did in the playoffs two years ago.
