Bucks at Heat tonight. If the Bucks win, they go 4-0 in the in-season tournament and are automatically in.

Heat without Butler and Herro tonight. It would be good to get up on them early and make the Heat dial back so the 4th quarter is laugher (Adebayo was questionable until today as well).

It's more likely the Bucks will let someone like Kyle Lowry burn them for 35 points and fall down by double digits at some point.

Finally, a good offensive start. The Bucks open up on a 12-2 run in less than 4 minutes. If you get Giannis, Dame, Khris, and Brook on the floor with anyone else the offense is going to look good. The issue will be is whether they can stay healthy.

Bucks up 15-2 and then Giannis rests and Miami goes on a 13-4 run on several layups against the Adrian Griffin pressure defense. Beauchamp gives up 4 points on a single possession. Giannis checking back in.

Bucks now up 19-18.

Adrian Griffin everyone. This is what you get. Brook Lopez chasing guys at the 3 point line. Spoelstra vs. Bud was a big advantage for the Heat. Spoelstra vs. Griffin is like Vince Lombardi facing Nathanial Hackett.

Get Beauchamp out.

Beauchamps first 30 seconds.

1. Fouls on a dead ball - 1 Miami FT

2. Guy blow by him for an and-one

3. Wild drive into the lane for a chaotic offensive possession

4. Poor rotations leads to an open Miami 3

A personal 7-0 run against him in less than a minute.

Bucks go 12-4 with Giannis back in and lead by 9.

Maybe Griffin has figured out he can't have Lopez guarding Love at the top of the key with Giannis out. Miami just attacked the rim when that happened and got 3-4 layups. Lopez can't leave Love at the 3 point line because Love is too good from there, but it shouldn't take a coaching savant to figure out you can switch someone else onto Love and let Lopez play drop.

Griffin's offensive sets are beginning to look OK.

The constant going for steals and pressuring the ball are leading to way too many layups or wide open 3s on penetration. Lopez saves a lot of those possessions against bad teams, but the team is too well coached.

I know it's early but I don't think we have a chance to win a ring as we stand.   I think they may have to move Lopez if the right deal comes around.  We just lack athleticism.  Middleton still looks slow.   Lopez gets played off the floor when teams go small.  Giannis getting used by Adebayo and looks scared to drive against him.   Lastly, so bummed we missed out on Nick Nurse.  Griffin looks like a deer in the headlights.

Connaughton sprains his ankle and is out for the rest of the game.

Beauchamp has been terrible. Payne is -17 in his limited minutes.

Miami goes 15 for 19 in the second quarter from the field. Mainly because the defense has been terrible.

Griffin is not the right coach for this team. That's the biggest problem.

Having Dame makes crunch time offense so much better. Middleton as a third option is as good as it gets (despite his defensive shortcomings right now). Letting Giannis chill out off the ball is so much less stressful as well. It would have been interesting to see what Bud would have done with this group.
