Giannis back in the lineup. Middleton still coming off the bench

Bucks down 16-11. A lot of turnovers, but Bucks not getting any calls right now.
Now down 20-11 after a 9-0 run.
Bucks getting blown out right now. 28-13
Down 34-22 after the first. Bucks can't play much worse. 7 turnovers and, after Connaughton hit a three a minute into the game, 0 for 5 from three.
Shitty half. Down 10 at the half. Bucks with 12 turnovers and the Nets are 8 for 17 from three.
The officials haven't done the Bucks any favors either. The Nets have 16 FT attempts to the Bucks 6.
The refs never help us.
Bucks force a tie and then a BS call on Giannis on the screen.
Bucks get it to even and now down 7 fast again.
Bucks 4 for 11 from the line
Bucks in trouble now. Giannis with 4 fouls and still behind.
Ingles is unplayable against this type of lineup. Terrible on defense tonight.

I don't see what he brings at all with his game - bad defense, can't shoot, mental mistakes. He tried his best to give away the Suns game at the end and I don't understand why he was on the floor.

He hits a three to balance it out on offense.
Bucks go on an 18-4 run to end the third with Giannis on the bench. Up 6 going to the 4th.
15 in a row!
Bucks go 4 from 12 from the line. Are down 10 in the middle of the third. Commit 17 turnovers.
But win a blowout in the 4th as they go on a 37-18 run in 11 minutes from the middle of the third to the middle of the 4th.
Giannis at 33-15-4 in 28 minutes.
15 wins in a row.

He's really good in the pick and roll game, and he can create shots for others. He's a good shooter as well.
His big issue will be whether he can be on the floor against Boston. The Nets lineups tonight had a bunch of guys like poor man's Tatums and Browns in Dinwiddie, Bridges, and Cam Johnson and he was manhandled on defense.
Listened to most of 1st half then tuned in later. I would have never imagined they won by 15.
This team is pretty fucking good and resilient.
Ingles is an exceptional passer in and out of pick and roll. He can also hit shots.
I would be concerned him playing against Boston. Crowder, Matthews, Pat C and Portis are better options.

If everyone is healthy, the closing lineup against the Celtics is likely to be
Giannis, Middleton, Holiday, Crowder, and Matthews. 5 guys that are all switchable and all elite defensive individual players in one on one matchups.
Lopez, Allen, and Ingles are targeted on defense.
Boston's offense is based on having two KDs (Tatum and Brown) on offense and running pick and rolls until you get one of those two matched up against the weakest defender on offense. They also design their sets well to get Giannis as far away in help defense as possible. Then, if you do run a double against one of those two, you have the other one, Brogdon, Grant Williams, Horford, or Marcus Smart taking wide open 3s. Last year, Grant Williams basically won one of the playoff games hitting a bunch of threes, while Horford went nuts in another.
You almost have to play them straight up and not double which is why the matchups are tough for Lopez, Allen, Ingles, and even Connaughton.
Ingles shooting 38 FG% this season and can't play defense, sorry but he should not be in the rotation
I agree with everything youâve said MP but do think Pat C will get a little more playing time against Boston because heâs an elite rebounder for a guy his size and heâs not a liability shooting and scoring. Even more important if you take Lopez out of the lineup.
Ingles interesting because heâs very skilled offensively. Heâs not much of a defender for sure.
Boston is in a similar situation with Robert Williams. Heâs outstanding defensively but he canât shoot. Thatâs why I think Horford and Grant Williams and Muscala will get more playing time.
By the way, Ingles is a career 41% from 3. Thatâs really good even if heâs around 35% for this season.
Portis is in a similar situation. His 3pt shooting is down (slightly) but heâs a career 38% from 3.
What's Jae Crowder from 3?
He's the key addition that tips the scales in the Bucks favor, IMO.

He was 37% the last two years in Phoenix. He's 4 for 6 so far in Milwaukee.
He's going to be crucial in a series with the Celtics, if both teams get that far.
