If Warren doesn’t go Fred Van Vleet and Bledsoe doesn’t go 2018 playoffs Bucks win this game
Music City posted:Well, the one takeaway is that Marvin Williams has a strong chance of being a valuable playoff asset for this team. His addition to the second team behind Giannis is a significant improvement athletically to Ilyasova, especially defensively.
He has to get Ersan's minutes. Ersan is unplayable against lineups with pick and pop stretch 4s. Williams can defend those guys.
TJ Warren goes for 35 points and can't miss a shot - announcers saying Brogdon has his way.
Brogdon didn’t do jack shit
Warren was 16-19
Yet Bucks lose by 7
Giannis plays this is a blowout win

That's f'ing insane.
Bucks are in 2016-2018 Warriors territory now. Everyone playing them like their life depended on it. Even without Giannis on the floor.
They're still a really good basketball team even without Giannis. With Giannis they have a shot at the title.

They are so much better than last year in terms of Bud having options for different matchups.
The following guys return that played at least 10 minutes a game in the Raptors series: Giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe, Hill, B. Lopez, Ilyasova, and Connaughton.
They've essentially replaced Brogdon and Mirotic with Matthews, Korver, M. Williams, and DDV (I often forget he only played 27 games last year and only 4 after January 1st).
Mirotic was useless as a wing defender and was terrible from deep. If Matthews and M. Williams don't hit a single 3, the Bucks are still better off there just because of the defensive improvement. Korver is a much better version of Mirotic in terms of shooting.
Brogdon is a good complementary player, but his minutes are partially covered by DDV. DDV is just as good a defender and is a decent shooter from deep, he just can't finish at the rim like Brogdon can.
In the end, the week link is if "Playoff Bledsoe" returns. DDV can defend guys like Kemba Walker, but he can't create offense like "regular season Bledsoe" can.
Some definite positives - Thought Marvin Williams looked very good, Dante keeps developing, and Sterling Brown played one of his best games as a Buck. All good signs for bench development heading toward the playoffs
Some real ugliness from Bledsoe, Ersan, Brook and his twin. I've often defended Bledsoe but man, he just scares me - his basketball IQ seems lacking(Thank goodness for George Hill). Middleton struggled getting his shot at times when Indy threw length at him(TJ Warren did a nice job limiting him).
Catch today's morning JS headline ? "Limping into the break" ??!!
Time to panic. I mean, the Bucks have lost 1 game in a row !!! (all while the God of Thunder is on family leave).
