Now down 47-38 to the Pistons after less than 15 minutes. On pace to give up about 150.
Bucks up 70-67 at the half.
67 points to the Pistons?
Of course, Giannis being 2 for 8 from the line has hurt.
Might help to have a FT routine that's not a violation literally every time. Who allows these 12 second routines?
Giannis is now 4 for 12 from the line and the Bucks are up 4 in the third quarter.
Bucks only up 5 going to the 4th despite 36 from Lillard so far.
Pistons are 15 for 26 from three. That's a lot of luck, but a lot of open shots on Griffin's shitty defensive schemes.
The Bucks now trail the Pistons in the 4th quarter.
For some reason, Griffin thought it was a good idea to sit Dame and Giannis at the same time and the Pistons open the quarter on an 8-2 run in 81 seconds.
Pistons are now 17 for 28 from three. When you play terrible defense and let opponents get comfortable, this can happen.
Bucks bench has been outscored 61-15.
Portis has been a turnstile.
Connaughton at point guard? Can they fire Griffin right now? Gives up a turnover and a transition 3.
Giannis taking 18 footers with 18 seconds left on the shot clock?
Tied 115 with 8 minutes left?
W T F
As of right now, I don't think Connaughton or Portis is playable against anyone. They can't guard anyone.

The Pistons are hitting everything, in some part because the Bucks defense has been horrible, in some part because their bench guys are going nuts.
This is the type of effort that should get a head coach fired
Detroit shooting 60% from 3 and Bucks making dumb fouls and playing no defense.
Bucks call timeout and win a challenge. Griffin's ATO call results in a turnover.
The Bucks at full strength, are down 4 to a team that is 4-37 and missing their best player.
Bucks up 7 with 2 minutes left
Now up 8 with a minute to go
They will win this one but Bucks need to get their heads out of their asses. Maybe it is time to can Griffin
Bucks have 47 FT attempts in this game
Griffin is an idiot. Pistons are down 7. You know they are going to shoot a 3 after the ATO. So, why leave Lopez in and have him drop? Gives up an open 3 and it's 4.
Bucks hang on and win 141-135.
Pistons hit 21 of 37 threes.
I think it’s time to move on from Griffin.
MP and Tschmack - serious question and you two know more than most regarding the Bucks. What is Griffins defense supposed to do? It’s obvious it isn’t working with the Bucks but in theory what should this defense be doing? Because right now it’s allowing open 3’s, open drives to the hoops and offensive rebounds galore.

This describes the problem very well.

Instead of adapting his defensive strategies to his personnel, he’s asked his personnel to adapt to his strategies. He wants his on-ball defenders guarding 40+ feet from the hoop and his off-ball guys hugging their man, preventing them from providing help when the inevitable drive to the hoop happens. It hasn’t worked through the first 40 games, and there are few signs it will ever work.
It's supposed to generate turnovers, but the Bucks don't have the personnel to run it.

I was rong. Pat may only be worth a warm six pack of Old Mil.
Beat the Piss Tons? Ain't no stoppin us now!!!
I’m dumbfounded that we struggled to beat a 4-37 team at full strength, with the other team missing their best player.
We won, but it should be beyond obvious that it’s time to can Griffin. And of course, nothing will happen until the offseason, meaning next year, we’ll have to start this whole process all over. More growing pains. And how do we bring anybody in? We have traded away all our draft picks for like the next four years, and have spent like nuts.
Is Dame traded yet?
Griffin clearly isn't the guy.....Would they bring in Stotts?
Clock is ticking but the All-Star break is coming

Stotts is an offensive guy. Offense is not going to be a problem. They need a defensive guy. Griffin was supposed to be a defensive guy, but his scheme assumes that Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis can play defense like Siakam or Scottie Barnes.
It's never going to happen, but I'd really like to see Budenholzer coach this team. Bud was 95% of a Hall of Fame level coach. Great regular season guy. Won a title.
Bud's main problem was that he really didn't have any other offensive scheme in crunch time of a playoff game other than either Giannis driving into a wall and then having to kick out to Bledsoe or Holiday to brick a 3 or isolating Middleton to take a ridiculous difficult shot as the shot clock expired. You know what works with that style? - having a guy who is one of the top 20 offensive guards of all time who can shoot from 30 feet and finish well at the rim to draw fouls. Dame is perfect for Bud's system (or lack of a structure/system in the 4th quarters of playoff games).
