Yes. Because it would be stupid to play Giannis or Middleton in the 4th at all.

31 games & they haven't played this bad all season. Didn't want to play on Christmas Day??

Who wants to play on the road on Christmas day and then get on a plane to go to Atlanta right after this?
Christmas games in the NBA should be limited to games where neither team has to travel very far. How about
Lakers-Clippers
Knicks-Nets
Bucks-Bulls
Kings-Warriors
Pistons-Cavs
To say I'm extremely disappointed would be an understatement.
I guess they could get a different job in which they don't get paid gazzillions to play on XMAS day.
I don't like putting Giannis back in at this point. He doesn't look right - don't be surprised if he sits against the Hawks due to a back problem.

I'm not religious at all (I'm an atheist) so it's not like I'm gong to be talking about religious significance, but there are some things more important than money.
How do officials miss Giannis getting slapped in the face?
Well.....it's obvious they want to keep that 100 pt record intact.
Just glad Giannis didn't lose his right eyeball
Look at the media.....just gushing over this Bucks loss.
How did you neutralize Giannis?!?!?!
They tied a team record 21 threes. While Bucks played their worst game of the season except for maybe vs. Boston.
Gimme a fucking break.
The Sixers are built perfectly to beat the Bucks.
They tied a team record 21 threes yet they're like 24th in the league in hitting 3's.
I hope to God Milwaukee meets them in the playoffs.
Sixers shot lights out and Bucks did not

Just like after Game 1 of the Celtics series last May.
Points of interest to me:
- the Bucks scored half their points in the paint, and shot 8 free throws. Let that sink in... it doesnโt even seem possible. But it happened on Christmas Day.
- Philly shoots the 3 about the same % on the season as the Bucks (about 36%), yet today 47.7% and set a team record in makes.
- Giannis was clearly not himself today- early start time- and we all know about Giannis and his routines- and his back was bothering him. He was 8/27 from the field, his worst performance of his career.
So this is exactly what the media wanted- a reason to take down the Bucks. While the Bucks roll off the next 15 games, itโll all be about how the Bucks failed to beat Philly and Boston on the road, and thatโs the chink in their armor.
So be it...
I wonder if Bud regrets not playing zone earlier. They started playing zone in the 4th quarter and got the lead down to 9 points. That's been the recent trend for opposing teams and the Sixers have had trouble with it.
Sixers hit a franchise record 21 bombs. Like thatโs common or will happen in the near future.
There is no chink in the armor as far as Iโm concerned. Bucks played spotty at best and Philly played Fred Van Vleet out of their goddamn minds.
Look at the body of work. If you think the Sixers are better you either 1) are a moron or 2) you donโt follow the NBA
Let the media idiots and Sixers crow about this one. Check the standings. I can guaran fuck ing t you that Milwaukee isnโt worried. Get Giannis healthy and they will get back to killing teams. Meanwhile, Philly better hope they are a 4 seed or higher getting home cooking or they are fucked. They are a horrible road team and watch them lay an egg in Orlando.
Losses like this are a good thing for this team. Theyโre growing accustomed to dominating... they got knocked around today and shown what some teams will be willing to do to beat them. Embiid was pushing and shoving and gouging and talking shit... heโll brag about how he got the best of Giannis, heโll lack respect. And thatโs all they need...
Embiid is a bitch. Paper tiger
Not sure how teams approach these games
Golden State beating Houston and New Orleans beating Denver? Cmon now.
Toronto getting blown out at home isnโt a typical event.
Milwaukee picked a time to play their worst game in some time. Probably the worst shooting game of Giannis career. Obviously Philly shot the best in team history.
The Sixers obviously approached this game a lot different than Milwaukee.
It was ONE game.
The most important thing for success is for Giannis to get an outside shot. If he does, the Bucks can win it all.
If he does not, they cannot.
Well well well....The sixers lose again in OT
Best team in the East right boys?
Sixers.....God's of basketball
Thatโs why I canโt take the Sixers seriously at all
Embiid has not proven he can stay healthy and they are a bad road team
Sure, they can look unbeatable at times when the stars are aligned but over a 7 game series? I donโt think so
Christmas Day - Philly 21/44 on 3 pointers - I think it was a record # of makes for them.
Since then - 26/88 on 3 pointers - 29%. All road losses.
Let the national media drool all over themselves about Philly. They'll be done in round 1 before the Bucks can even take them out.
Hey look at that.....the Sixers lost AGAIN!
This time to the Rockets in Houston.
They're such a good team!!
โAll I care about is winningโ
Nice try Embiid

Elton Brand basically admitted he built that team to counter Giannis. The problem is unless they get hot from 3, they are very limited on offense. The other thing that people don't take into account is that Bledsoe was out for the Bucks game. Quick guards that can penetrate will give them problems.
But their fatal flaw is that pairing two ball-dominant, weak shooters like Simmons and Embiid is going to limit you offensively. Simmons is a great individual player, but to maximize his strengths, you would have to put him in a Giannis role and feature him in the same way.
If the Sixers continue to lose, I could see them packaging Simmons at the deadline rather than waiting until this summer.

Thereโs video of him talking to Capela after the game saying โIt isnโt meโ or something to that effect. Philly is a ticking time bomb...
Well looky what we have here.....
Tsk tsk.....The medias little darling is having a rough go of it.
Since Christmas Day the Sixers are 2-6

The Sixers are dysfunctional and the fact that it's very difficult for them to play Simmons and Embiid together on the offensive end is the underlying problem.
Some rumblings of a Ben Simmons for D'Angelo Russell swap.

Eastern Conf teams need to get to the #2 seed. Seeds 7 & 8 will probably be sub-.500 so the Bucks and #2 seed should have an easy first round. The 3-6 and 4-5 matchups should be pretty intense.
Media darling Philly needs home court in round 1 to have a chance to advance.
Philly built a team to beat Giannis and just figured they'd have an easy road to the ECF against anyone else. They tried to replicate the Raptors formula of a bunch of big guys to block the paint, but Simmons inability to shoot bogs them too much on offense.
Simmons or Embiid has to go. Embiid is the better player, but he's missed more games than he's played in his career.
