Bucks trail after one 23-22.

AJ Green gets roasted as soon he checks in.

Bucks go 1 for 7 from three.

Giannis and Portis are 7-9. The rest of team is 1-10.

Dame with some bricks and is 1-5.

Seems a lot like last year.

I'm watching!! Kill those mother fuckers!!

Maybe I should tone it down a tad since we have 82 of these things. 😄

A foul to give and Giannis gets the foul 🤦🏻

23-22 Sixers end of 1st quarter.

Bucks up 11 at the end of the first half.

Hard to conclude much after 24 minutes of an 82 game season, but it's very clear that Trent Jr. and Prince are much, much, much better on defense fighting through screens than Beasley.

Boris Durke crying about no foul on Maxey (hip contact) & that strip on Giannis was no foul across the wrist either right?!

🖕🏼🤬🖕🏼

They all want Giannis out of Milwaukee so fucking bad

Solid win against a short-handed Sixers squad.

Giannis with a ho-hum 25-14-7 on 8-11 from the floor.

Dame with 30 on 6 for 12 from three.

Lopez with 6 blocks.

Prince and Trent Jr. give them guards that can actually play defense - unlike Beasley and Green.

Just like MLB, the media and league's fondest dream is a NY-LA Finals. Not going to happen with the Lakers, but the Knicks could be good.

Tough to judge this game as Philly was without Embiid and George, but the Bucks didn’t have Middleton.

I watched about half of the game and overall I thought Dame and Bobby and Prince played really well.  Trent Jr. is clearly an upgrade at the 2 guard.   Giannis didn’t take any 3s (lol) but in 30 minutes had a crazy stat line of 25/14/7.

I’m not sure we can expect Prince to shoot like that every night but what’s encouraging is he basically gave you 75% of Middleton’s offensive contribution and was clearly an upgrade defensively.  I know him starting with the Lakers was probably a stretch, but with this team he’s a much better fit.  I wouldn’t be surprised if Khris actually starts coming off the bench once he returns.

I also think the biggest development is Lillard.  If this is the version of Dame we can expect this year the Bucks are absolutely a threat to win it all.

If nothing else, having Trent Jr. instead of Beasley as your other starting guard gives the team a much higher defensive ceiling. Whether it was Adrian Griffin, Doc Rivers, or Eric Spoelstra, any coach is going to have problems with defensive scheme against good teams when you have Lillard and Beasley out there at the same time. Lillard is a D+ defender as it is, so you have to help him out. But if your other guard is an F like Beasley was, it's almost impossible to hide two defensive deficiencies in the half court.

Trent Jr. is at least a willing and capable defender.   He isn’t a shutdown guy by any stretch, but he’s got quick hands which leads to steals and he can put up some resistance.

The bigger development is probably Prince.  He’s pretty active and pesky - much more so than an old and ineffective  Jae Crowder or Danilo Gallinari.  I’m not saying he’s a Jalen Brown or Jayson Tatum stopper, but I think he can challenge those types of guys whereas Pat C or Portis can’t.
