Non Giannis and Lopez guys went 15 for 60.

Non Giannis, Lopez, and Middleton guys went 8 for 38.

When you have to play Connaughton 36 minutes (-20) that's what happens. They were +19 in Giannis' 32 minutes and -23 in the 16 minutes he sat.

Damnit......tough one tonight but helluva effort, after playing Le'Bitch, without starting backcourt.

Even in this loss ...this team is damn impressive!

Playing without their top 4 guards - any one of which would have been able to at least slow down Mitchell.

These are the last key minutes DJ Wilson will play this year. He needs to get back to the end of the bench. Christian Wood is a better option right now.

The Bucks started the season 16-9. That's a respectable 52 win pace.

Since then they are 32-6. That's a 69 win pace.

Two of the games they lost in that span were games Giannis sat out.

The other 4 games include three games that were the second game of back to backs - including two where other starters sat out for rest. All 4 of these games were one possession games with under two minutes left.

1. At Miami on December 22nd after winning at Boston the night before. Brogdon sat out.

2. Toronto at Home on January 5th after winning against the Hawks the night before.

3. At OKC. Paul George went off.

4. Last night at Utah after winning in LA the night before. Bledsoe and Brogdon didn't play.

In the 4 games that Giannis played that they lost, Giannis averaged 30.5 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists and was 8 of 15 from the 3 point line.

Not stunning... not anymore. We all need to recalibrate what we expect to see from this team. They’re trying to win a championship. Legitimately trying to win a championship. The bar elevates.

They put up a good fight against a good opponent without their starting backcourt. Canaan shouldn’t be on a roster. The Bucks came apart offensively as soon as he subbed in.

But it’s ok. That jumbo lineup probably got a fair amount of attention around the league... they were something like 36-12 with that lineup on the floor. I’m sure that was strategic as well... get ‘em looking at it, scouting it. It’s not quite the “death lineup” from the 73 win Warriors, but it’s sure interesting...

You mean the guy who was a starting point guard on the 2015-16 Sixer tankathon year (10-72) shouldn't be on a roster?

I would say DJ Wilson shouldn't be getting minutes right now either. I'm not sure why he gets minutes over Christian Wood.

At one point last night, the Bucks were playing DJ Wilson, Isaac Canaan, Tony Snell, and Connaughton with Brook Lopez.

With Gasol on board and Sterling Brown and George Hill returning soon, that type of lineup won't happen again.

Again, I think we need to keep certain things in perspective.  We all know the challenges of a back to back setup especially against a good team (Utah) in their home gym.  The injuries and substitutions weren’t working in their favor either.   Yet they practically pulled it off and stole one.

If they go on a several game losing streak then maybe we should get concerned.
