Since the start of the 2013-14 season, at least either MIddleton or Giannis has played 699 of the 705 games. The only game they both missed that wasn't a planned rest day for most of the starting lineup was  January 8, 2017.

The other 5 were the following:

March 31, 2019 (rested 4 starters)

March 9, 2020 (all starters rested)

March 27, 2021 (all starters sat)

April 9, 2021 (all starters sat)

May 16, 2021 (all starters sat)

Man. Nwora has shit the bed at the end of the third quarter for the second game in a row. Bucks down 8, but Nwora's defense and a bad turnover have been a problem

Well, I’d rather he gets potty trained now while the rest of the big dogs are kenneled.

I don’t know how you guys feel, and I haven’t had much opportunity to watch the Bucks this season, thus far. But I think Nwora, if he develops into an even decent defensive player, could be a real star. The guys has some real touch shooting. All he had to do is get up to speed at the NBA level, and his perimeter shooting could really take the Bucks offense to the stratosphere.

Is it wishful thinking on my part, or does he  really have that kind of offensive ceiling?

Boston starting to pull away. The record is ugly, at 6-7 (likely, though this one is not done yet). But to quote Cinderella Man, I’m hoping all this time for the bench players will pay dividends in the later rounds.

Hanging around .500 with DDV still not back, Lopez missing all but one game, KM missing 8 and Jrue not playing at his level…the media better give Giannis some credit. He’s second in the NBA in PER, and he’s doing it with little supporting cast.

The fear I have is that while Nwora is clearly an NBA-level talent on offense, he's not the right kind of talent for the Bucks.

Nwora has one of the prettiest step-back 3s in the NBA. It's elite level. But to hit shot, he needs to handle the ball for several seconds before shooting it. He's pretty good on pullups inside the arc, too. But, to be successful he needs to be a high-usage/high-possession player. He's just a little above average as a catch-and-shoot guy. Grayson Allen is the opposite. He's a great catch-and-shoot guy, but worse on the move.

To play for the Bucks, you are not going to be a high-usage/high-possession player.  Giannis and Middleton are going to get the ball on most possessions. If they don't, you have Holiday and George Hill. You aren't going to give Nwora the ball 15 times a game and try to get a step-back 3.

Nwora has a lot of value on a team fighting to get an 8th seed. That's why he's potential trade bait.

As a fan, these types of situations are frustrating. You get the big picture of not playing Giannis tonight, but he was not really that hurt and if he plays this is a 15 point win.

If they end up as a 6 seed or better at the end it doesn't matter, but you'd like to get a few more wins under your belt instead of struggling to stay near .500 this far into the season.

The more I watch Nwora the less I like him.  He just seems to make the wrong decisions too often for my taste.  If he’s open and standing still he’s got a great shooting stroke and that’s at least something to build on.

Maybe he can get better, but it can be frustrating to see him make critical brain farts at times.  I fear he’s one of those guys that can tantalyze you with a great game here and there, but most of the time his shaky decision making will frustrate you.

I thought Nwora played well, the past two or three games. Getting to watch the Bucks is very hit or miss here, due to my cable provider not having Fox Sports Wisconsin in their line up. When I do get to watch, I try to soak up as much as I can. I like Nwora off the bench. I really like what Grayson Allen brings when he plays. Ojelye has some good moments, as well. Last night the Bucks overcame a deficit to tie up the game at the end of regulation, only to lose it in OT. The bench gained a lot of experience without Middleton, Lopez, DDV and now, Giannis, in the lineup. Can't wait for those guys to get healthy, again.

When you consider the roster and who played it’s pretty remarkable that they pushed Boston to the limit.   Had Jrue Holiday made a few more shots, they win that game.

I’m not particularly excited that they are 6-7, but other than their 1st game when they blew out Brooklyn it’s not like they’ve had their team intact.   It’s clear to me the Bucks are playing the long game and as I said earlier this week I expect teams like Chicago and Cleveland and a few others in the East to come back to the pack.
