Bucks bench unit without Dame or Giannis gives up a 10-0 run. Bucks trail by 4.
Hawks lead by 3 going to the 4th. A terrible end to the third. They are 9 for 30 from three.
Bench unit has kept it close and it's tied with just over 8 minutes left
Gueye came into the game 9 for 43 from three in his career. He's 4 for 5 tonight. Sometimes you lose random games to outlier stuff like this. Bucks only down 1, but that's a weird result.

Gueye finally missed an open one and the Bucks defense really clamped down on the Hawks. Another great win against a decent team.
And, another win they don't get without Kuzma, Porter Jr., or Sims.
Considering the Bucks shot 29% from 3 v 40% for the Hawks, it’s a solid road win.
The schedule gets tougher the next 2-3 weeks, and they are going to lose some games, but it will be interesting if this keeps going (good play even if they lose to some good teams), what to do with Portis when he comes back. Portis can get you points, but Sims is a tremendous defensive player and they don't really need Portis' offense offense off the bench when you have Porter Jr. (who can not only get you points, but plays good defense on the ball).
Porter Jr. and Kuzma also put a lot more pressure on opposing teams defenses even if they don't score. Instead of playing iso ball with Middleton or Portis for a contested 15 foot jump shot and being stagnant, the Bucks current bench unit moves the ball around well and drives into the paint. At least the other team has to expend some energy on defense and not just sit and rest for 15 seconds when Bobby gets the ball on the block and dribbles 8 times before shooting a jumper.
They may be much better off playing Sims than Portis
