Tyler Ennis coming too.
Perfect PG body, but plays like a 2 - probably figured strike now while his numbers look good.
Carter-Williams makes a long team longer. Holy crap. 6-6 PG with all their length? Yikes...
Just heard the Plumlee news! Holy buckets, not only long but fun! Wow, good-bye Herb Kohl!
talk about maximizing your trade value, I was ready to trade Knight at the end of last year because I thought he would only go downhill.
CBS Sports has Plumlee and Ennis going to the Sixers.

As part of the deal, the Suns will send Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee to the 76ers. The 76ers will also receive a top-five lottery protected draft pick from Phoenix, via the Lakers.
Knight was going to want big money. He's a good complimentary player, but not near a max level which is where his agent was probably going. They've avoided getting into a situation where they end up with the next John Salmons, Desmond Mason type contract.
In essence, they got last year's rookie of the year (MCW) and two spare parts for Brandon Jennings and they get an extra two years before they have to shell out big money for MCW relative to Knight.

JS online has the Bucks getting Ennis and Plumlee.
CBS updated that post and have them going to the Bucks.
Sure seems hard to dislike the trade, even though Knight had been performing so well.
How can the 76ers get away with this and not have the league office do something? The team was terrible to begin with and they just traded away their best player for a draft pick that will likely get pushed back into the 2016 draft. Their best players left are Nerlens Noel and Luc Mbah a Moute.
I'm guessing Kidd wants a true PG and not someone with a score first mentality, no matter how good. Instead of a big contract, get a quality player on a rookie contract. Lost some scoring, but hopefully that can come from OJ, Middleton, Giannis, and eventually Parker. Plumlee adds depth with the impending loss of Sanders. Won't be surprised to see some growing pains in the next week or two as MCW adjusts to a new team. Long term is more important than the difference between a 6 and 8 seed this year.
Like the trade
Now you have a few years to assess MCW. And by that time, you should have Parker and Antetokoumpo as the big 2. MCW as the 3rd will depend on his shooting- which he's horrible at.

You are short changing the return from Jennings if you don't include Middleton. IMO, he has been even more of a pleasant surprise this year than Knight has, and I believe a large factor in the reason they let Knight go is they decided Middleton is the one they would prefer to pay and keep.
Wasn't the early knock on Kidd that he couldn't shoot? He seemed to outlive that shortfall. Good luck Coach Kidd with this new project!
Yanni and the hope for the if he can learn how to score new guy. played like gazelles.
