Sanders is a better player, but they gambled in Gadzuric to get him locked up early too and that was a disaster.

4 @ $44mm for a guy who doesn't score... sounds about right for the Bucks.
The franchise track record speaks for itself, but there's at least a chance they got this one right. He obviously needs to keep developing as an offensive player, and not start tanking now that he has his payday.
Fingers crossed.
Better hope he plays well like he did last year. What was the rush
If he had another good year the price would've been higher?
They are definitely betting on the come.
Many thought TT jumped the gun extending the first time, too.
it is a risky move because prior to last season he was wildly inconsistent and for this deal to work he has to continue to play at a high level
hope he does buy given the luck of this franchise wouldn't bet the ranch he does
Milwaukeeβs frustrations spilled into the postgame locker room, where teammates Gary Neal and Larry Sanders got into a shouting match with media present. At one point, Neal yelled, βI earn my money. Why donβt you try it?β
Right now it's looking like another dreadful extension for the Bucks. I think we all understand why Milwaukee did it but clearly there are maturity/motivation issues with this guy and giving him a bunch of money might have made those matters worse.
At this point I may not be opposed to dealing the guy if this is what you are going to get but more distractions/problems gives them a greater chance of finishing with a terrible record and improves their chances of winning the draft lottery.
character of a turd.
I still remember the dog story. And I have read about more.
Great move, Bucks.
Was at the game last night. As pedestrian as Andrew Bogut may seem, he's way better than anyone the Bucks have now. Besides the attitude the Bucks are getting jack from Sanders on the court. 5 points and zero blocks lat night. It's like playing with 4 guys out there (offensively) when he's on the court. Except for the occasional flagrant by him of course.
Even Curry was off last night going 2-11 on 3's and scoring 15. Bucks still lost by 21.
Most exciting thing was a Rodgers, Kuhn (and unconfirmed Eddie Lacy) sightings late in the game. I went to use the john late and heard this incredible roar from the arena thinking what could the Bucks have done to earn that? Got back to my seat and my son tells me they just showed Rodgers on the scoreboard. He was sitting right behind the GS bench (he is a NoCal boy).
